I thought it might improve after Paul's departure, but sadly not.
Soppy Lydia going to get a bank loan for Paul's funeral because "Vinny's family" - no he's not. Then bleating that it will take her years to pay off the credit card debt - there will be CCTV at the cash machines and surely they will realise that she didn't buy the wedding stuff.
Meena, as a PP said, being over dramatic and making an issue out of stuff that is nothing to do with her. The line about Andrea being a dog killer was ludicrous.

If it isn't people overhearing what others are saying, it people interfering in stuff that's nothing to do with them.

The one good spot was Tracy giving Faith and her rubber mouth her marching orders - and Nate agreeing with her

No-one going to mention Charity dressing up as Diane? No? You're probably right. Let's pretend it didn't happen. Along with Bob and Wendy. And the captain's hat.

The problem is that there are so many stupid things going on in Emmerdale at the moment that each episode would warrant an essay written about it!

I enjoyed Charity raiding Diane's wardrobe. It even got a smile out of sulky Sarah

I used to like Faith, but she's so horrible right now. Eric better put her in her place.

Yes! I thought exactly the same.
They can knock up a coffin out of a couple of canoes from the Hide or whatever it is, Faith can ferry it there in her hearse, and if they slip Harriet a tenner she can do the service. They can bury him in Kim's garden.
Job done.

Faith really is despicable. It was bad enough the way she spoke to Tracey but taking the betting slip knowing Vinny and Lydia are desperate for money just shows why Cain and the family want nothing to do with her.

I don’t like what they’re doing to Faith. She’s a favourite of mine, and they’re turning her from flawed/misguided to just plain malicious.

Does anyone else not understand the point of The Hive? There’s already the pub and café for everyday social scenes and the B&B restaurant for fancy meals - plus didn’t David have a little deli/wine bar area in the shop at one point? How many hangouts do they need? I can’t see the outdoor pursuits side of it generating many storylines. (On that topic, wasn’t Aaron shagging the canoe instructor who he used to bully? Where did he go?)

I don't think they got that far and hopefully they never will! The canoe has a better personality than him.

I actually like Faith in a love to hate sort of way, but yes, they could easily cross a line with her. Sally Dexter is so beautiful who plays her though, and a super-talented actress (and writer). I can't stop looking at her!

I hope it will be worth going through all that Matty! I'm glad they're not making light of it.

IRL would a man like Eric fancy somebody like her? She's what we'd call a tink and I can't imagine any clean, tidy respectable man looking twice at her. Beautiful???

I’m a bit confused. Kim thinks she has dementia or similar? And then Victoria starts talking about her dad (Jack) having it and forgetting who she was? that’s total nonsense that never happened! Jack moved to Spain to look after Annie who was ill and he died of a heart attack!

Do you remember her in Night and Day? She was very middle-class and buttoned-up - nothing like Faith at all!
