I was very confused. Lucas was telling Chelsea not to go to Birmingham because that’s just running away up from her mess, Denise told her the same thing, then Lucas tells her not to come and visit him again and to go and live her life and they are all teary and dramatic so was he telling her to go to Birmingham or not?

He was saying stay in Walford and out down osme roots where her family is (ie her mum D) but without having the burden of thinking about her convicted dad in prison! Or that's my interpretation anyway 😉

I'm pretty sure the square's quota of gangsters is fulfilled, so Chelsea ought to go to Birmingham. That would also avoid the problems that would inevitably arise if she accepted Dee's invitation to live with her and Jack. (Dee didn't consult Jack before suggesting that, which annoyed me.)

@Blondeshavemorefun the spoiler on the One Show was them having Lucas on and saying this was going to be his last night on EE. So I was expecting something much more dramatic. I just feel they shouldn’t tell you just before the program that a character is leaving that night.

Yes that was kinda what I thought but they seemed very emotional in the way characters are when someone is leaving for good so I wondered if that means Chelsea is. Or maybe Lucas?

Birmingham was rather racy I thought - poor old Milton Keynes didn't get a look in did it? I do love how they try to deliver these cities outside London as far flung mystical lands from whence people never shall return as opposed to an hour on the train

Fast train from London it’s about 90min.

I didn't get why she asked if she'd ever see him again. Is he in prison for rest of his life, or being moved to another prison?

I’m guessing he has to finish his sentence. He served what, 10 years in prison? So does that mean another 10 on licence? Which be now has to serve inside?

He said she wasn't on his list of visiting orders ie he didn't want her to keep coming to see him in prison is how I interpreted it!

Yeah but to ask if she'd ever see him again?? Unless he's in prison for natural life, I didn't understand why she'd think that.

I don’t think it’s Sonias house. It belongs to Dot who bought it with the money from the house Dr Legg left her.
Dot went to Ireland but they never discuss her anymore. She can’t go on for ever.
