Agree, it was bad enough when the scriptwriters destroyed Sharon and Ian’s relationship and ruining 35 years of shared history that can never recover, but by taking her out of the Vic they have completely cut her character adrift, she has no meaningful connection to anyone or anything now, the scriptwriters have taken her son, her best friend and now her home and business this past year. Phil will yet again completely screw her over now that he’s hoping into bed with Kat every chance he gets and poor Sharon doesn’t have a clue 😡.

Knowing the back history of the characters there is no way Max's ex wife Tanya would allow her sister to raise Abi. All a bit odd.

Why is Sharon doing as Phil demands? I don't believe she would just hand over the pub. It would be more realistic to employ Mick.

The writers need to do their character research!

They blame Tanya's depression on a lot of major life events with the exception of Abi's funeral. Yet she is deemed capable of raising Oscar single handedly with only the help of alcoholic Cora.

To be fair Stu and Raine have had epic turn around and are doing a good job. Accidentally trying to kill a policemen in the Parlour downstairs not withstanding.

Is Stacey really not going to warn Martin about Ruby just based on the fact that she is pregnant? Surely she would love to ruin their marriage and do a big ‘I told you so’, Kush as well can’t just leave it there surely?

I did feel a bit sorry for Ruby being bullied like this. I know she did some bad things, but so has Stacey too ( spending Ruby's money for one)
They could have handled it better , plus Kush was happy to go along with Ruby's plan to take Arthur as well. I know he had his reasons etc but even so! They are all as bad as each other. Stacey can be so sanctimonious.

Why didn't Stacey just go to the loos with ruby? Peeing in a bin FFS! And if Stacey couldn't see that ruby was as shocked the test was positive as she was well...... more fool her! (I did love the irony of them arguing about ruby being pregnant when Stacey was looking about 8 months gone bless her!)

And the luggage thing always gets my goat - I'd barely manage a weekend on one suitcase and a small bag, let alone start a new life! And Abbie would've had what two pairs of pjs and a teddy in that tiny case

They always swan off with one or two small bags! It is ridiculous. Plus they also pack in a nano second of leaving as well. No hunting for underwear or their keys.

I really thought Stacey would pack up her tribe and go with Max (I knew he was leaving ages ago) I thought that was the point of the whole Bradley anniversary/photo in the gutter bits.

I read about Max ages ago too , but wasn't sure how they would write him out. Maybe he'll meet up with Ian and they can ' chew the fat' together , homeless and unwanted!
He could go to see Tanya and their son in Devon ( is it Oliver ? I Can't remember his name!) he hasn't seen him in years and years . Or look up Cora who was last seen trying to get custody of baby Abbie! At least he has a few family members around.

Didn't Max have tickets bought for him and Linda a while back, but then she wouldn't leave with him.

Yes, I was crying too, I dont cry at anything but there was something about that little one in her cute snowsuit and wellies, toddling along so obediently with her little case in tow. It just made me realise how much little ones trust their parents to do no wrong, bless her little heart.

I wonder if her real parents were having a little sob too. :)

Poor Sharon. She never quite manages to make it in life on her own. She's always at the mercy of some man.

I suppose if it were ordinary times, Max would have held Abi's hand or even picked her up, but the way that was done really added to the scene.
