It's been a long time since they played Julia's Theme and I'm glad they did it tonight for Max's exit as he was in it for so long. He was a major character but one that was feeling tired.

I don't know what to say. That was very unexpected. I always hoped Max and Stacey would get back together. Right at the end of that programme, I thought he'd kiss Stacey and they'd get back together. They understood each other and had chemistry, rare in EE. I'm in shock he's gone.

Now that Max has gone, why would they go through with any verbal agreement? I guess Phil is a 'man of honour' blah blah. I hate the idea of the Carters being back there, they had a long run at it, they were rubbish, so let it go back to the Watts/Mitchells.

I'm so fed up of the Carters - moaning Mick and the Carter children are dull dull dull. Linda is a very good actress who is better without Mick's storylines dragging her down.

It would make sense for Mick to work there as manager he was good behind bar and he can be around for school runs for Ollie. Then Linda can do her part time job and making Capes for her business on the side. Linda gets to live there and occasionally pop up and look after Albie.

I think Max is a huge loss to 'stenders, and yes I always wanted him and Stace to have their happy ever after.
Little Abi was the sweetest thing, even DH was cooing over her.

Poor Max. He has been a complete arse over Linda but I so want him to be happy. Everyone telling him to go was awful. You don't just tell someone to leave because you don't fancy them, or tell your brother to leave because he's been dumped.

I agree with everything you wrote. Sharon belongs in the Vic. It felt completely back to normal for the five mins she had it.

She can be hard hearted at times so there is no way she'd allow Phil to talk her out of owning the Vic in the same way she gained ownership of it. Its really annoying they gave us the hope of her owning it again and than banged it back over to the Carters. Sharon has spent years sleeping on people's sofas, without either a job or a home, after being screwed over by Phil numerous times, yet she hands the place she grew up in, her home and her future, to Phil. I'm really cross about this too.
