Anyone seen this replacement for Wanted Down Under? Bonkers. Today a young lady is in Skye and she currently lives in Bayswater.

That was the third episode I kind of watched. I am finding it hard to get through it. I would love to move to Skye though! I felt her mum was a bit patronising though which might be unfair of me though.

I do enjoy these kind of shows but only if the subjects aren't just tyre kicking.

I get the idea of this, but the format just feels daft. Watching the you girl today with her mum it was so bloody obvious she wouldn't be leaving London to move to Skye...I felt it was all a but patronising to people who actually do move in this way. It was all 'ya' 'super'..

To me it feels like a desperate attempt to recreate the Wanted Down Under format when they can't fly people down under. Keeping in the friends and family videos feels particularly pointless. Especially yesterday's which I think was Walthamstow to Kent.... a couple of hours journey at the most? It's all very forced.

something along the lines of 'what were you thinking? Did you not listen to ANYTHING we told you?'

I thought at first she was making joke but she really wasn't. He just gaped. I was not sure what they showed her was so outside their specification really. (Was only half watching)

I really couldn’t see her lasting 5 minutes away from the lights of Bayswater; she didn’t even realise how far it was to Skye!

Thanks, I started to watch & got bored. It’s the same as WDU isn’t it? They have a small budget & expect a mansion.

I think the woman wants to keep the man away from pubs & stuff. He mentioned at the beginning that he had become too fond of alcohol.

So they had lived in Belfast all their married lives - and she grew up there from what she said - yet they drive an hour north of the city and gasp and weep at the scenery/coast/views as though they have never seen it before, it's so odd!!

I'm watching far to much crap TV during this lockdown …

I got the impression there was something they weren't telling us about the bloke today. Something about his current lifestyle they were trying to escape from before lockdown ended.

Lovely Chris coped with it quite well. I imagined the production team getting their own back by simply presenting the footage. Did you see the couple's faces like thunder when they left that house!!!!

The couple from Belfast was really unlikeable, could be bad editing but I couldn't warm to either of them.

As for the young woman from London - come on! Although if she'd wanted to start dating, the local men would have been hovering around her like thirsty mozzies Grin
