Anyone seen this replacement for Wanted Down Under? Bonkers. Today a young lady is in Skye and she currently lives in Bayswater.

Midgies not mozzies Blush She did remind me of Carrie Symonds 🤔

I’ve not had a chance to watch any more but I will definitely watch yesterday’s back. Love a bit of drama.

The young woman from the west end of London was very amusing, it was all being funded by the bank of wealthy Mum and Dad, I think she was a very naive woman with not much grasp on reality, she was obviously from a very wealthy family who nod along to her whims but the Mum knew full well that her daughter wouldn’t last a long weekend in Skye let alone a permanent move.

I missed the end of Fridays episode, did they move to Norfolk? Felt it was a bit odd that out the whole of Norfolk they couldn't find a family home under £300k to show them

I watched the first episode on Monday, they wanted to move from London? to Dorset. It was so boring and slow, but then it is a new series and the starts are always a bit odd. But it was odd in that they showed them houses but there was no discussion about what jobs they would do, how were they supporting this move? The woman kept saying she needed to be around people but they looked at houses that were in the middle of nowhere. I didn’t watch any more, but might go find the Belfast couple on I player to see what you’re all talking about. And the Skye episode.

Just watched the Belfast couple. Omg! I can’t get over how rude she is!

I was googling the show and they are asking for people to go on it.

The Belfast woman was really rude.

But it is an odd sort of show. Families weeping and wailing because their loved ones want to move an hour away (or whatever). It does not really work.

It is the worst program on tv I like the presenter I did watch once everyone was crying I thought they were moving to Mars but no London to Dorset I pay for this I want a refund if this is the best you can offer

I'm really enjoying it - I watch it on catch up over lunch (and fast forwarding the bonkers and pointless friends and family videos). Its obviously meant as a WDU replacement, but I'm enjoying see what different parts of the UK might possibly be like to live in (I don't live in the UK). A bit like Escape to the Country, I see it as not so much a property program but more of travel program with a 'living there' slant! Some of these places are beautiful.
The NI couple were shockingly rude to the lovely presenter. And quite mad - the man wanted to be able to pop down to Belfast for gigs, but can't drive. And the woman was in tears over how scenic the coast was - but it was only an hours drive from them.
The girl who wanted to move to Skye seemed to have more money (well mum and dads money) than sense. She looked quite alarmed when she was asking the local girl what the dating scene was like and she told her, well everyone will know that a single girl has moved to the island! Not sure everyone knowing your business was something she'd considered about a small place.
The Monday couple who wanted to move with their adult children, I thought a bit strange. Surely they should be encouraging them to be a bit more independent and moving out - not centering a house move around them.
Loved todays in Cornwall - it looks so pretty, would love to take a holiday there when travel is possible again. In the meantime, I'll just have to watch it on the telly.
