Agreed, Confused, really unimpressed with male ixpert.

Cherrypie32 · 27/01/2021 09:10

Agree I don’t see the ‘twist’ in new couples other than that they’ve chosen some more mismatched, into themselves, shit stirrers to keep things interesting now Sam & Ines have moved on.

CleanQueen123 · 27/01/2021 09:13

It was very much "Be quiet now you hysterical woman. I'm right. You're wrong. The experts back me up."

No wonder he's still single at 44. I imagine every woman has seen through him sooner or later.

happinessischocolate · 27/01/2021 09:27

@SheldonesqueIsUnwell

I don’t think I care for the introduction of two new couples. Why would you do that - if not to cause BB style chaos?

I hope they’ve done a better job of matching the new lot.

Isn't it a coincidence that they managed to arrange these 2 weddings in the exact same week as the departure of the 2 couples that they've been basing all the footage on 🙄
StormyLovesOdd · 27/01/2021 09:35

Innes is a typical narsasist, she can't see anyone else's point of view or see that she's done anything wrong and everyone has to follow her lead and do as they're told.

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 27/01/2021 10:06

The ixperts offering couples counselling based on what is said in 2 minutes on the sofa in front of the whole group is ridiculous.

They are just encouraging all the couples to stay together and work on the issues regardless of what they are.

Pretending that they don't know the whole story is ridiculous - and actually makes it even worse because the ixpert advise they are giving is apparently based on absolutely nothing.

I am very close to being done with this programme - it's not fun or interesting anymore, it's actually quite scary. That the ixperts totally ignore the bullying controlling behaviour going on is appalling.

When Ines said she didn't care, the ixperts just sat there with their mouths open. Don't you think one of them could have told her that her behaviour was concerning and that they were offering her counselling? Talking about moral compasses is a waste of breath!

VillaMia · 27/01/2021 10:23

@CleanQueen123

It was very much "Be quiet now you hysterical woman. I'm right. You're wrong. The experts back me up."

No wonder he's still single at 44. I imagine every woman has seen through him sooner or later.

Oh Mike's smugness when he heard this was off the scale. Apparently Heidi's emotions need to be put back in a box each night, and each new day should start with her being a nice compliant woman who doesn't get over-emotional. I strongly suspect she's feeling so emotional - and angry (the ixperts didn't really touch on her visible rage, did they?) - because her needs aren't being met. He has absolutely no respect for her feelings, He's just enjoying the good sex. Heidi needs a man with emotional depth, and that certainly ain't Mike.
SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 27/01/2021 10:23

Isn’t it a miracle chocolate?

The ixperts look to be matching (or mismatching) people for viewing shits and giggles.

Although I’m very much an armchair analyst, a lot of these people seem to have big ishoos and this could mess them up even further.

I totally agree keeping - if it isn’t one disturbing trait it is another.

For Ines to react like that to being totally thrown under the bus is a worry.

It is like a default setting to getting fucked over and that is a rotten shame.

CleanQueen123 · 27/01/2021 10:29

@VillaMia exactly that. It's terrifying that Heidi is being told to ignore her own emotions and instincts because she has feelings for him and has committed to the relationship.

That's precisely how you end up in situations where women say "I know he hits me but I can't leave because I love him".

Mike is looking for a fully compliant piece of arm candy and the experts seem to be encouraging Heidi to become that.

VillaMia · 27/01/2021 10:41

So often the experts in these kind of programmes worry me. They seem to leave their bags of ethics at the door!

Ines' responses - or lack of them - are really very concerning. Probably even more so than her behaviour. Either she's an actress, paid to behave like this, or something so bad has happened to her which blocks her from actually feeling anything. Her responses are always so inappropriate - smiling when being challenged by the ixperts, giggling when Sam effectively dumps her in front of everyone (despite her pretty much proclaiming her love for him). Those are weird ways to respond - it feels like she's not really in the same room or conversation. Even in the scenes with just her and Sam, there doesn't feel like there's any depth of emotion from her...you're so hot Sam, I feel so horny with you...feels quite devoid of an authentic connection.

CleanQueen123 · 27/01/2021 10:49

It is very strange isn't it? It feels like she's either been scripted to behave like that or she's saying these things because she thinks that's what should be said in those situations.

Her laugh sounds very false. Almost as if she's thinking "I need to laugh here because it's an appropriate response."

There's no depth or emotional connection to anything.

I don't have much experience in the legal profession but I can't image the show helped to further her career. Particularly as she wanted to be a human rights lawyer!

VillaMia · 27/01/2021 11:02

I've checked out her Insta - usually wearing not very much, promoting various items like fake tan. Absolutely fine if that's what she wants to do, but a bit rich rejecting someone because he used to be a stripper!

CleanQueen123 · 27/01/2021 11:20

Well quite! I imagine that's the best way for her to make money now. I can't see any serious employer wanting to take her on. Can you imagine being her line manager or dealing with any HR issues?!

I also wouldn't want her representing me in a legal capacity. I know in certain areas of law being ruthless is a desirable trait but she takes the biscuit.

CleanQueen123 · 27/01/2021 11:30

I also find it terrifying that she's an ambassador for a children's charity. I know it's because she was a refugee but she's an appalling role model. It shows quite poor judgement from the charity.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 27/01/2021 11:48

I thought last night was crap actually, drama my arse, everyone got off far too lightly.

VillaMia · 27/01/2021 13:20

Ines, Sam and Mike all got off too lightly for sure. I wonder if there will be any further repercussions?

Agree also re Ines. I definitely wouldn’t want any devoid of empathy to be representing me!

maz82 · 27/01/2021 13:37

Has anyone seen Sam's Instagram highlights? He's put one up with inside tricks that the producers etc do. Makes me look at Sam in a different way. We'll worth a watch!

I definitely think there is going to be drama with these new couples. Jess doesn't sit right with me. I don't think she is genuine and her and her husband seem more like siblings than married couple.

Coffeesnob11 · 27/01/2021 14:11

Bronson had clearly shot the same scene too many times he was almost smiling by the end i also think he was given the option to change from stay to leave. Ines looked deranged. I know a lot of people who laugh when they are nervous but I also think she has gone through a lot of trauma and when you have faced that anything else isn't a problem.
Lizzies eyes were so red but they didn't seem to show her crying at all. Surely they will show the videos towards the end like last season with davina?

I back Heidi most of the time but it was a little bit controlling to want to control the conversation with Jess but the ixperts are bang out of order with their advice.
Jess is annoying me complaining about mick but then bringing it up all the time.
I don't think dinos heart is genuinely in it, that's my gut feel after last night. I want mel to find someone, I like her a lot.

JaneJeffer · 27/01/2021 14:16

Did Ines call him Bronston when she was speaking?!

Ning seems so much more chilled now. I think Mark is good for her if she gives him a chance.

CleanQueen123 · 27/01/2021 14:35

@maz82 oh what did he say? I tried to watch but the video kept freezing and I got fed up that it was just 30 seconds of video before you had to press play again.

You can tell I use Instagram about once a year Grin

NoKingDingaLingTitsInAbsentia · 27/01/2021 14:35

@Italiangreyhound

If Mike did fancy Jess why would he encourage her to sleep with Mick?
checking she 'puts out' before he moves in?
Sunbird24 · 27/01/2021 14:41

Checked this article, no spoilers:

JaneJeffer · 27/01/2021 14:54

"I was too scared, people were sending me rape and death threats every day."
That's disgusting. She didn't deserve that over a bloody TV programme.

Shefliesonherownwings · 27/01/2021 14:56

I watched a few YouTube clips of this series last year I think it was and I kept meaning to watch the whole series but haven’t until now. All I can say is, it gets better, more drama and the reunion episode is a rippah!

maz82 · 27/01/2021 15:06

@cleanqueen123 it was really interesting. Said about how he wanted to leave but the producers threatened to sue him and that they were telling him what to say. Siad that they kept him in a separate hotel. At the dinner party after new Zealand he said that he was there before everyone but the producers told him to go in last for extra drama.
