Big hoo-haa in The Sun about DVO getting rushed to NHS overloaded hospital with her shoulder. Is it really necessary etc. I guess they have a point.

I have dislocated both my shoulders. To get pain relief I would have waded through a croc infested river and kissed Tony Blair. And possibly Boris. I have not known pain like that before or since.

You’d have thought that they would have had private medical facilities though.

There will be injuries and it be Covid times. It is an unnecessary burden on the Nhs and healthcare is something that should have been in place.

But in the absence of it? I wouldn’t leave my worst enemy in that pain. (Well yes I would but he was a nasty bully)

Despite a dislocated shoulder being bloody painful it has the ability to trap nerves & blood vessels if not treated properly.

People should remember hospitals are still hospitals NOT Covid Treatment Centres. A & E are still operating normally. Private medical centres don't always have A&E facilities.

It's awful I believe Sheldon - one of our friends dislocated his shoulder & it still randomly pops out on him.

I was on base and the time and they cracked open the battle packs for pain relief. I can’t remember anything but pain and me screaming.

I’m usually ruftytufty with pain. I might let slip a tear but I don’t scream or fuss. I did with that

I hope DVO is going to be ok. I recognise the upturned turtle thing she did. Until you are incapacitated, you forget how often you unconsciously use your arms for stuff.

I’ve a shoulder that dislocates too. I’ve had several operations on it over the years, and touch wood it’s well nailed back in nowadays. Tbh she’s crazy trying to carry on. It needs resting to repair properly - any falls or yanks will set it back and stretch the ligament/muscles even more. If I heard right, she only partially dislocated it, which is good and can heal well. I learned the hard way that if you ignore injury and try to push through it you pay later.

I feel so sorry for LL. She was different, and brought such a fresh energy.

I can be quite traditional with Strictly and Skiddy but there was something, as you say, fresh and engaging with LadyL.

She looked as though she was loving it as well. I was quite taken with it.

I didn't get chance to watch last night, but will catch up today. I loved the early series, but haven't watched so much recently. Can't believe Matt Evers is still there, I remember him with Bonnie Langford!

I can’t understand the golden ticket thing.

Also who was the skater with the man bun thing doing the ariel stuff - I think he was dancing with graham bells replacement partner so I wondered if they keep a few spare professionals in case of injury but they don’t credit them unless they are partnering a celeb.

On a serious note , given his tweets etc, I don't know how Rufus can be appearing on let alone applauded on mainstream TV. Others in the past have been blacklisted for far less.

So glad I'm not the only one that thinks LL was the best skater last night, despite not knowing who the heck she is 🤔 and Rufus getting that bloody Golden Ticket - for what exactly? The entertainment factor? Because he's the underdog? 🧐

I really can't help but feel the scoring was not what it should have been tbh.

Plus I thought Vardy was quite good too. How she's managed to pop out 5 kids with that guy though, I'll never work out 🤨
