Moving to a new house should have been a dream come true for Alice (keesley hawks) and Harry (Jason Merrells) and their daughter Charlotte

But turns into a nightmare when Alice finds Harry at the bottom of the stairs dead

And turns out harry has secrets ........

You can't get hung up on details with programmes! 🤣

kindlyensure · 28/01/2021 17:18

I agree about the hospital morgue visiting. It's like Harry's Hotel. Having been in the unfortunate position of visiting my DDad in the morgue after his sudden and shocking death I find the idea that Harry is just lying there waiting for her to rock up whenever she pleases, laughable (and not in a funny way).

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/01/2021 17:41

Harry would be going sloppy after think 5 days

Yes embalmed but rem morgue saying to me to visit within 5 days as body does start to decompose

But dh did have his own room there so friends and family could visit for a few days

Obviously the odd detail might not be worth worrying about but the entire thing has huge holes in the plot!

eggandonion · 28/01/2021 19:13

I'd be happier if he was in one of those cold store things, and just got whizzed out for visits. I don't want him to disintegrate.
Although he is buried now, so I can stop worrying.

RaraRachael · 29/01/2021 14:41

I'm finding Alice quite a silly character to be honest. She does ridiculous things like burying Harry in the garden, speaking rubbish at the bereavement group etc

Would a mortuary worker really be running bereavement support groups? I wouldn't have thought so but have no knowledge of this line of work.

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/01/2021 20:37

Charlotte wants to go back to school but Alice doesn’t ike being alone in tonight’s episode

"Would you prefer a rhombus?" Grin

JaneJeffer · 31/01/2021 21:35

Aha! I was right Grin

JiminyLeeCricket · 31/01/2021 23:51

I admit I may have missed this, but why hasn't Alice asked to see the deeds of the house? Or checked the land registry? She's capable of organising a surreptitious DNA test but if memory serves she hasn't checked who actually owns the house ...

SoupDragon · 01/02/2021 10:40

I thought she was incredibly rude at the bereavement group. Especially when they'd helped her at the funeral without even knowing her.

CaptainMyCaptain · 01/02/2021 12:32

I think you have to either accept it's rather surreal or not bother with it. It's Marmite.

butterpuffed · 01/02/2021 13:17

Still watching but I'm not sure why, suppose I want to see the eventual outcome.

Please tell me visitors aren't allowed to go into a room at a mortuary when someone is working on a deceased. Shock . Couldn't quite figure out if that was a dark humour moment, it didn't make me laugh !

RaraRachael · 01/02/2021 13:24

butterpuffed I'm the same. I have got to episode 4 and want to see if there is any outcome or if it's going to be one of those "Well that's 6 hours of my life I won't get back" kind of programmes as has happened many times in the past Hmm

JaneJeffer · 01/02/2021 13:37

I doubt it. I think that scene was just to show how respectful Nathan is of the dead and so we could find out his daughter had died.

stumbledin · 01/02/2021 14:26

JiminyLeeCricket - her husband's parents own the house. But yes that would be an interesting plot twist if they were lying that he had given it to them. But if they weren't the legal owners they would have problems selling it which they are inthe process of doing.

Must admit the quirkyness is wearing a bit thin.

AlternativePerspective · 01/02/2021 14:29

That’s 6 hours of your life you’ll never get back. Grin

RaraRachael · 01/02/2021 14:31

LOL thanks for that AlternativePerspective Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/02/2021 17:44

I liked the black humour of the circle qbs singing lion king

It’s true. Any time someone is new you do the introduce I’m
Blondes and my husband killed his self

Agree need to check the deeds

Why was Harry so stupid

No will. No life insurance. No insurance for building company

Is it 40% inheritance tax on 1.5million ? Or just under the offer

So son is 28yrs old

Long time ago his mum had an affair

Do you think Harry is the biological father of Tanvi's kids?

Clawdy · 07/02/2021 22:50

Tonight's was rather boring, too much financial detail, and legal issues. I know that happens after a sudden death, but I don't really want to watch an hour of it.
