Mick being sexually abused as a child in Eastenders was really tough to watch. I have a knot in my stomach thinking about it. I know it happens but it was very tough to watch and think about.

Last Tango in Halifax - when they killed heavily pregnant Kate off, a day after her wedding to Caroline. I so wanted those two to have a happy ending. Then Kate appeared as a ghost ... spoilt a great series for me.

I gave up on Outlander before the last episode of series 5, because apparently it's impossible for any of the main characters to avoid being raped.

Jamie, Fergus, Ian, Brianna, Clare - one a series.

When Niamh in Ballykissangel had an affair with Sean Dillon. Just wouldn't have happened.

Silent Witness was one of my favourite programmes, until an extremely brutal rape scene in a prison toilet was suddenly portrayed. It was so unlike the usual storylines it caught me unawares. I had flashbacks for weeks, couldn't get the sounds out of my head.

Never watched it since.....just in case.

Glens death in the walking dead. That was too far for me.
Bennett’s death in ripper street.
The end of sons of anarchy.
Any scene with Oliver in the OC.
I stopped watching the soaps a long time ago.

The stupid dead baby swap in EastEnders. Stopped watching after that. Also going back years ago the. Dallas Bobby wasn't dead but in shower

When someone from Eastenders went to Ireland years and years ago. I can't remember why.
It was real "stage Irishy", begorrah and pigs in the parlour stuff.
Horrible.
Stopped watching then.

I was a real Eastenders fan years ago, and I particularly loved the storyline where Billy and Little Mo got together at last after her dreadful abusive relationship with her husband. There was a lovely period where they were both so happy. Couldn't last of course. I read that a storyline was being developed where Little Mo would be raped by a stranger. So I stopped watching one of my favourite programmes, before the story began, and I've never seen it since.

That's when I stopped watching too and never watched it since

In fairness, this was the 90's and male sexual assault had never been done on TV - and was rarely since. Holly oaks was always very good at going where no other TV show dared.

Seconded Bonfire. She had been sexually harassing him for ages and then heard he was drunk and in a bad way and went round there to take her opportunity. It was disgusting and if a man had done that there would have been uproar.
