Sorry, couldn't think of a catchy title in the emergency of needing a new thread!

How have none of the judges said Lenny Henry for the blob. He was named after the doctor who delivered him, Dr Lenworth!

I'd know his voice anywhere, I am informed by my mum that little 4 year old DeadButDelicious would kiss the telly every time Lenny Henry came on. I loved him. 😂

deadbut I know - couldn't be more obvious if he was stood there out of costume I presume those guesses have been edited out - Jonathan and davina have worked with him a lot on Comic Relief so no way would they not guess!

Bushbaby - magic, cooking and ABBA seem to be the main clues - totally stumped on that one although Matt Lucas is probably the best guess and he can sing!

SEB said that they all guessed her and it was edited out so who knows!!

Not sure. There's a clip on YouTube of totally gorgeous Morten on Blue Peter and the dog, either Goldie or Bonnie (I didn't have the sound on) is all over him!

Harlequin-definitely Gabrielle. She's not even slightly trying to hide her voice
Blob-Lenny Henry. As above.
Bush Baby-John Thomson. "Cobbled together"-he was in Coronation Street, socks in the bush-Cold Feet? Abba references-he was in Knowing me, Knowing you, "child's play"- he's voiced loads of children's tv characters, chef references-he was in Masterchef.
Viking-Morten Harket??? Possibly.

Blob is 100% Lenny Henry. Harlequin is Macy Grey, although I partly still think Gabrielle.

BushBaby is surely Vic Reeves. The singing voice sounds just like him.

Haven’t rtft at watching in catch up but watching Blob now and we think:

Somebody upthread guessed Keely Hawes for Harlequin, I think? I hope it was a joke. Keely would have to have been ‘resting’ for a few years before she did a show like this!

Morten must just be doing it for the laughs.

Quick google of John Thomson (who incidentally went to college with my brother ) - he voices a character on a children's tv show Shane the Chef

Watched it all now, dh and I were convinced Hoddle was Shilts doesn’t bode well for the rest of our guesses

Mo is one of my midlife crisis crushes - I only watched the Big Narsty show for a glimpse of Mo

I'm sure last year's lot were harder to guess than this - most of them aren't even bothering to disguise their voices.

I now think Matt Lucas for Bush Baby after the ABBA references, as he did Rock Profiles and dressed up as them, and is a big fan. Plus there were a few shooting stars references and he is literally wearing George Dawes' outfit.

As a massive a-ha fan, there is literally not a single doubt in my mind that Morten is the Viking. It is unmistakably his voice. I would bet my house and life savings in it.

I’ve just seen the photo of Clock and Viking side by side. Viking was much shorter. Glenn is apparently 6’ and Morten is 5’11”.

moose I guess the Clock costume had big blocky feet so Glenn's feet may have been lifted a couple of inches rather than directly on the floor so made him look taller?

Yep, me too. It was even more obvious in the sing off. I think the panel are told not to correctly identify the singers. There's no way JR and Davina don't know that voice.

I think the issue is, when you're on a different track, you don't hear the obvious. eg I didnt hear Sophie Ellis Bextor AT ALL until she was revealed - yet on here when I read the thread back, it was clear that I was in the minority, and everyone thought it was clear who it was.
Saying that, Viking is 100% Morten. The most depressing thing about that is, when I googled him, discovered he's 61 :-(

Morten is/was a judge on The Voice in Norway. I am so sure Viking is him .

What Viking's clues about breaking rules did make me think of was the huge tension between a-ha and the Bond music guy when they wrote the theme tune to The Living Daylights. Bond music guy would keep insisting they make changes and then a-ha would put it back to how it was overnight...

And he has broken a record. All the clues fit too. It is him.
