Just caught up with this and I enjoyed it, although why follow a dangerous man along a deserted alleyway and why not just tell the nice trustworthy policeman straight away when you find some new significant evidence? Like in most crime dramas ...
But I did like the fact there was no clichéd final episode scene with the killer almost killing Emma who was then saved at the very last second, probably by Daniel.
That father had glitteringly evil eyes!
And yes, John Gordon Sinclair looked a wee bit rough but acted the part very well. I've had a soft spot for him since Gregory's Girl. One of my favourite films. I remember him all long and lanky, zigzagging in front of his dad's car like a startled antelope
