There is too much airing of issues and personal challenges on Blown Away. One of the challenges is meant to represent their inner struggles (or something similar) and the British contestant says something like he's finding it difficult because he isn't struggling with inner daemons, he's just blowing glass.

Whilst I like a bit of background (and to see people's pets , I don't want to hear about their personal battles against persistent earwax or stuff like that. I'm not their mother.

This is just reminding me I used to have a chicken brick. No idea where it is, haven't seen it for decades.
You used to have to soak it in water before cooking the chicken in it.

I have never heard or seen of a chicken brick!!

You cook a chicken in them. They keep it moist and delicious (allegedly). I've never used one, but it is a bit of equipment I'd have if I had the space.

Interesting they are glazing them? I thought it was natural terracotta which allowed the chicken to be really succulent from the brick being soaked.
