Lauren's an attractive woman; it's unusual for a heterosexual male who's just lost his virginity to not want to continue having more sex with a willing woman! Bloody hell, the guy has just lost his virginity, is on a tv show and now his ‘wife’ is talking about threesomes etc - personally I would no way be able to get my mind into sex. It doesn’t make him asexual/gay - just shell shocked I think? Also I don’t think he’s suited to her at all which probably doesn’t help.
To still be a virgin at his age (and not religious), he probably does have some issues - but I don’t think gay is a fair assumption.

My armchair analysis on Matt is that he comes from a massively stiff and uptight family. He's obviously hugely repressed emotionally and even just being able to communicate in a functional way. I reckon this was his big attempt to breakaway (in a way that was legitimate - ie through marriage), but basically her revelations have pushed him right back into his repressed closet. Not saying he's gay, just think he's unable to have normal relationships.

I felt really sorry for both Matt and Lauren, they both have their issues but seem to be genuine and were both very hurt by the conversation seen tonight.
