He really is a drip - this show was the only way he was ever going to have sex. His face looked like rigor mortis was setting in when Lauren told him she used to be a lesbian.

Looks like Lauren is finally getting a backbone too. She was underwhelmed with the spa (basically a bath! No idea why they kept referring to us as a spa ) and she was not impressed by his list of questions for her - they were so childish.

I dread to think what he was going to ask her next (before the rigor mortis set in). For someone who claims to be so well read, he really hasn't got a clue. You'd think he'd ask her about books she' read, or if she likes hiking... or what music she likes, y'know... to see if they like the same things...

Maybe they should start calling everyone one 'former virgin'

Heidi needs to run from mike he is devoid of emotion and I can see his eye roving once he is bored. I really like her.
I like Martha and Michael but she has had so much work done. I hope they stick it.

I thought it was cruel of the producers to not only make her sit there with no TV or entertainment to wait for Sam but did they have to show her eating chocolate and pizza constantly? I felt sorry for her when she apologised to ines. She was so desperate to be liked. She is quite loud but its all a front. I love her new pic someone posted. Same is an arse with a superiority complex.
Ines is so damaged and I wondered what exactly she went through in the refugee camp. She was also cruel about lizzie when her own sister isn't stick thin. I can barely listen to her. Although Bronson comes across as lovely he is another one that sets off my senses. I think he definitely has attachment issues reading between the lines of what his dad says. I hope I am wrong.
Loz and Michael. He reminds me of an ex (also a 29year old virgin!) Who definitely had some sort of undiagnosed autism. He ended up being abusive as he had very fixed ideas and huge social anxiety. She needs to run. His family gave me the creeps.
I like cyrell and I hope she can trust nick. I want them to work. I suspect she has been stuck with bad boys whereas he doesn't play games with her.
I think the first dates pickers should have a go at matching people for mafs.

Ines “I’m prepared to do some things…” meaning Chase other men. “I’m fully committed…” meaning To myself.

“I came here for love.” Sam and Ines seem exactly Davina from season 5 or whatever!

Interesting that Ines is happy to salivate over pictures of Sam in a pair of trunks and has no problem with him being a part time model and therefore taking his clothes off for money.

She wasn't actually in a hotel, it was the Sydney apartment block. But yeah Sydney has a lot of bars. Maybe she didn't actually stay in all the time but the evil producers wanted us to think she did.

There does seem to be a lot of manipulation on the programme.

Looked at photos. All down her turned out to be an exaggeration but she has them and I'm protective of Bronson.

I agree with comments about it being scripted etc, it’s worse than the previous ones and it clearly isn’t a program/experiment about finding love etc ( the USA and UK ones are ) the Australian ones are purely for dramatic entertainment, but I’m loving all the fake crazy it brings, lol

I’ve watched ahead and find myself shouting at the laptop ( mainly at the fact the production team must take us all for idiots to think anyone could really believe in the drama that unfolds, lol)

I've seen all the Aussie ones and this is very much like the others. Maybe more drama! But really different to the UK ones and I do think better for it.

Now, when I watch the UK ones I am bored. It's not that I want to see them breaking up etc. It's just all the raw emotion etc. And there is some degree of growth with these characters. I don't remember seeing this level of growth with the UK series. If they don't get on they just go their separate ways.

In the Aussie one I do feel the experts have some useful things to say to the couples.

I don't think they match them well but I now feel that that maybe they do not have all the facts. They seemed shocked at Lauren and that suggests she didn't disclose her 'past' or that she did to the producers and then they didn't pass that on to the experts.

Maybe Matt did ask Lauren more but not on camera, that's what I would do if my new husband said 'I used to be gay.'!!

If that is how it went, I'd say that that goes to his integrity.

Just catching up with the thread, my DH just can't watch any bit of the programme at all without having rage.

I think it's very heavily scripted this one, Ines is awful, Lizzie prob worse tho and it spoils it, but Matt terrible as well, I hope more of it gets better because there's a lot of it I dislike atm and even j can't watch a lot & I love trash tv 🤣

I think the producer probably kept lizzie in just in case he returned which is pretty rubbish. I think she should have at least got to go on honeymoon ans enjoyed it without him.

Literally a repeat of the last series with the cheating storyline. Is it Mike who’s the misogynistic twat who keeps supporting Sam and berating Liz. Why were the experts so keen to jump on Bronson but let Ines get away with being utterly disrespectful the entire interview?

Ines made me snort when she said Liz looked like the love child of Big Bird and the Joker. It’s obviously scripted but quite amusing.

Ines does look like Katy Perry. The auburn hair lady reminds me of Julie Andrews.

Was talking to DH about the ixperts when I suddenly remembered the episode in the last series (or possibly the one before) where the dark haired ixpert came along to the apartment of one of the couples to give intimacy advice during which she stood looking at them and giving encouragement while they got close on the sofa and stroked each other. She then told them to move into the bedroom and FOLLOWED THEM. I cringed myself inside out. Please don’t let that happen again this series, I couldn’t bear it.
