Strictly has always been wholeheartedly and delightfully gay. This same couples thing is unnecessary and embarrassing IMO. It’s hardly news that some folks are gay.

Nicola is not a naturally great dancer to be fair but I’m pleased for her and Katya to see them get the chance to show us what they could do given a proper run at it.

Just sharing my one experience of ballroom dancing.. We had a WW2 reenactment dance. I attempted to do a waltz with Wilfs lovely adopted Grandad Tom who was an excellent amateur dancer. I spent the whole dance stamping on his feet.. He spent the whole dance wincing and asking why I was dancing the wrong way!! Bless him, he and Nanna are much missed...
