I have loved this and have laughed so much. I was shocked I sobbed my way through the last episode. It just felt so full of love!

We've got the last episode to watch but I don't want to because then it'll all be over!! I've been crying the last few episodes!

Jenifirtree · 18/12/2020 23:20

Me and dh are trying to eke out the final season! I probably should hide this thread...

GlummyMcGlummerson · 19/12/2020 01:04

Buckets!

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 19/12/2020 01:08

Yes!
And now it's over I really miss them all. Especially Patrick & David.
Final season was so full of warmth and love.

Yoyoyossarian · 19/12/2020 01:27

Yup - like a baby! Finished the show a couple of weeks ago and really miss it.

AdditionalCharacter · 19/12/2020 02:25

I watched it for the first time two weeks ago. And I've researched it all over the past few days. I love it, it's such a great show.

I love David and how they've not made a massive deal about him being gay, how they made it normal for him to fall in love and get married.

My favourite is Moira though. Hilarious! Where is bèbès chamber Grin

My favourite episode (apart from the wedding one) is when Moira and David go wine tasting. "I said radish!"

AdditionalCharacter · 19/12/2020 02:25

Rewatched, not research Confused

PerveenMistry · 19/12/2020 02:28

Yes. I watched the program reluctantly, then got hooked and cried at the last few episodes.

It was so much different, the entire series, than I'd expected.

ClassyRodent · 19/12/2020 02:36

Yes! I didn't love it at first and then got stuck into it several episodes a night whilst dp was working away and kids were in bed. Final season I cried and cried and laughed and googled and watched interviews and instagram followed all the actors and wished the characters were real Grin and then I got over it lol! But, for a week after I was a bit obsessed with it, constantly in my brain! I could feel myself taking on their actions lol, thats what happens when u watch several episodes a night, your husband is away and u can't go out with your friends!!

Poppyolive90 · 19/12/2020 02:38

Yes! I hated the first episode but I was told to persist so I did and o grew to love the characters. I was so disappointed when we got to the end!!

funtimefrank · 19/12/2020 02:42

That bit on the car bonnet - sobbed like a baby.

I adored this show so much.

FrenchyQ · 19/12/2020 08:30

I didn't cry at the last episode, I think it was a lovely ending and very heart warming. However I cried buckets at the episode with Ted and Alexis when they realised that their lives were going in different directions.

IdblowJonSnow · 19/12/2020 08:36

Loved this series too. Took me months to watch it all. I was sad it came to an end but loved how it ended and think the makers nailed it. All the characters were where they needed to be/should be.

Now, if only we could say the same about Game of Thrones. Xmas Hmm

Jenifirtree · 19/12/2020 08:37

love David and how they've not made a massive deal about him being gay, how they made it normal for him to fall in love and get married.

I read an interview which said that was the writers intention, that there is no homophobia in schitt’s creek.

AnneLovesGilbert · 19/12/2020 08:37

Loads! Then we watched a documentary about how they made it and bawled plenty more. Was a soggy night.

SwanShaped · 19/12/2020 08:39

Ooh what’s the doc? I loved it and no one I know has watched it.

Blinkyblonkyblimey · 19/12/2020 08:41

Cried when Stevie sang ‘Maybe This Time’. When Patrick proposed, when David mimed ‘Simply the Best’ and when they got married. On the other hand, ‘Fold in the cheese’ will forever remain a classic for me!

DesperatelySeekingSunshine · 19/12/2020 08:50

Cried and cried, then cried some more watching them make the last series.
In fact I cried even more at that - there was just so much love between the actors.
Have told DH that if he could just look at me the way David looks at Patrick once in a while he’d make me the happiest lady!

hellswelshy · 19/12/2020 09:00

Yes cried! And already miss it, wondering if I need to rewatch it soon (got to the end about 2 months ago)... Best thing I've watched all year by far.

hellswelshy · 19/12/2020 09:03

Oh and some best bits- both David and Patrick singing/miming 'Simply The Best. Alexa doing 'A little bit Alexa'. Moira, just everything but especially her shrieking and amazing wigs. Oh I loved it so!!

SorrelForbes · 19/12/2020 09:07

Yep! Cried at the Ted and Alexa episode too. I really want to buy an 'Ewwwww David' t-shirt Blush

RaRaLaLaLaaa · 19/12/2020 09:27

My favourite is where David goes to Ray's office to get the planning forms and meets Patrick for the first time. It's so subtle.

Also the Cabaret episode.

Cherryberrypies · 19/12/2020 17:42

I cried my eyes out. The whole show is beautiful, funny and lovable characters.

If you are interested there is a wrap up show on Netflix which had me super emotional all over again. Sounds silly but I will really miss this show and the characters.

BenoneBeauty · 19/12/2020 19:28

I absolutely loved it too - amazing series! The wrap up show is fab and I cried at it too. I love how they deliberately made it a show with no homophobia and how that all played out! Was fantastic and what a lovely world would that be to live in!

BenoneBeauty · 19/12/2020 19:28

Also loved the twist with Twyla - didn't see that coming at all Grin
