I think David and Shona are very sweet. Loving the pick n mix Corona authenticity. Bertie at a playdate etc.

Clawdy · 29/12/2020 08:42

Isn't Bertie a bit young for a playdate anyway? Thought he was still a baby, but I guess time flies.

Graciebobcat · 29/12/2020 10:39

I thought it might be Ray who clumped Adam. Ray knew where he was, probably had spare keys and they had just had a row where Adam lorded it over him.

TellingBone · 29/12/2020 12:06

Hmmm good call - if it was Ray and he gets jailed it would nicely finish off the unfeasible buy up the street storyline.
eggandonion · 29/12/2020 13:36

Ray would have keys. Why was Adam there? Had he eaten his chips? Ray would be cross if Adam was eating food bought elsewhere in the bistro.

YouBoughtMeAWall · 29/12/2020 14:23

From what I remember Ray was closing up and had to go somewhere. Adam was the only customer left and asked Ray if he could stay and he would lock up for him so Ray gave him the keys and left. Then Adam went and got himself some chips and met Sarah on the way back to the bistro with his chips and told her he had the keys and that’s where he would be.

JamieLeesCurtains · 29/12/2020 14:36

So was the bistro supposed to be locked or unlocked?

YouBoughtMeAWall · 29/12/2020 14:40

I’m not sure. Ray gave Adam the keys and he was supposed to lock up when he left, he must have left it unlocked when he came back with his chips.

PoloNeckKnickers · 29/12/2020 15:52

Now I want chips.

eggandonion · 29/12/2020 16:47

I'd also like chips. Pot of tea. Bread and butter. Does dev still own a chip shop?

Deadringer · 29/12/2020 18:01

I am getting takeaway chips any minute now! I am beginning to think it was Sarah, even though in reality her character would never do it. She is being very shifty, and acting very awkward with Adam. Either her or Simon anyway. I don't mind if Gary gets blamed though, he has it coming.

Optimistlestoe1 · 29/12/2020 20:47

My money's on Daniel - he's desperate to know exactly what Adam remembers seeing, and what he's planning to tell the police. Can't remember if he has an alibi, though ...

YouBoughtMeAWall · 29/12/2020 21:04

Yes Daniel is being particularly agreesuce with his questioning of everyone. I was annoyed that Sarah answered his questions so obediently. He’s not the police! I’d have told him to sod off.

YouBoughtMeAWall · 29/12/2020 21:04

aggressive!

StillCoughingandLaughing · 29/12/2020 21:44

How many more gay men does one soap need?

Well if they’re going to show Todd, who is a gay man, dating someone, chances are it will be another gay man.

OP posts:
YouBoughtMeAWall · 29/12/2020 21:46

Grin good point. Or they could just not show Todd at all

I wonder when the 6 lesbians will arrive on the street.

eggandonion · 29/12/2020 23:42

On the sixth day so tomorrow. Yesterday was the fourth day.
But no matter what one's sexual orientation on corrie, the story line will be equally bizarre.
I just wish one couple could have a life with no trauma for a few months.

Cameron2012 · 30/12/2020 09:03

I’m reading this at 9 in the morning and now I want chips

YouBoughtMeAWall · 30/12/2020 20:09

Why are imran and toyah being so bloody intense?? “This was his home for a couple of days and we’ll never forget that” Hmm you babysat. That’s it. It was never going to be an epic tale of child rescue and a life long bond. It’s very hard to watch their scenes. They’re being so idiotic.

Ahorsecalledseptember · 30/12/2020 20:10

What is going on with Todd and that boyfriend of Billy’s (what IS his name!?) and the man he punched?

thenightsky · 30/12/2020 20:14

Craig is massively unprofessional. I hate his scenes.

YouBoughtMeAWall · 30/12/2020 20:15

Todd has paid a teenager to call the helpline that Paul works for and create a fake story about an abusive stepdad to encourage Paul to get over involved. This is all so that Billy will “disapprove” (Todd’s words) of Paul and presumably dump him and shag Todd. The teenager gave Paul and address and said his stepdad was kicking off, Paul told Todd and Todd encouraged Paul to go round to the address. Paul did, no one was home and he tried to climb through a window. He broke the window frame and ran. A neighbour saw him, told the house owner and the guy tracked him down demanding answers. Paul accused him of being an abusive step father and the man, baffled, started kicking him and said he must have had a messed up childhood. Paul saw red and attacked him.

woodhill · 30/12/2020 20:16

Why was Paul so gullible.

Honeyroar · 30/12/2020 20:16

What had Toyah done? I don’t understand what she’s ranting about?

Craig is the most gossipy plod ever. Lock him up too!

YouBoughtMeAWall · 30/12/2020 20:17

Toyah is just ridiculous. The whole story is.
