I went to put the kettle on ten minutes before it finished. I don't think as a 'Corrie fan' I was supposed to do that, but Gemma's voice is just too much, a kind of cheesegrater in my brain (re both aural and visual insults).

I looked at Todd yesterday and felt real hatred. I don't think relaxation is supposed to feel like that! I just have no empathy or understanding as to why he's doing this - it's so far beyond what a normal (nasty) person might do to gain an ex's attention.

The fact that Billy and Paul seem so ill-matched just irritates me further.

What has Todd paid the kid to do. I blinked and missed it. The new Todd is terrible. As if they need another ham actor.

Absolutely he's being paid. Todd phoned him from the factory and basically said 'do you want to earn some more money?'

Todd will be found out and Eileen will just sigh and roll her eyes and all will be forgiven. Remember when previous Todd kissed previous Nick? They were about the same age then, whereas Nick now looks old enough to be Todd's dad.

The thing that grates with me most is that I'm sure I remember Todd being such a nice boy? Years and years ago, obviously, and maybe so many years ago that my brain has merged him with somebody else. But he was never quite so twisted before he went to That London, surely?

Yes I think it was living in that London that turned Todd into a bad 'un.

Todd was lovely when he was young, all confused. Now he is bitter and twisted.
I have a bottle of Coole Swan, like Baileys but twice the price in the supermarket but mostly I only get it in duty free trial thimbles, I find it ideal for Corrie.

Todd was also far more attractive before. I wonder what became of the actor who played Jason, I know he did a stint on Neighbours, and appeared in a couple of reality shows, but haven't seen him act for years.

Jason actor did that show with his dad and his (gorgeous) brothers for ITV. I think they went to India. Their dad died recently.

Just when you thought it was safe to watch Corrie, back comes Gemma!

The Indian thing was great, especially the Anglo Indian music and dance. But I'd like to have found out what the dad did when he was away from the family.
It was a better story than a lot of Corrie. Jason should return, wasn't he accidentally mr. Gay Weatherfield at one point.

The dad used to compere music events in the north west till a few years ago, and tell anecdotes about his time with Soul Train and touring with the Jackson 5. Saw him at one of our local venues, he was still a good singer, and very funny!

She’s a complete caricature. Why can’t they just write normal characters with real personalities instead of making everyone so extreme!
