A shake up across the board would be great though... all the things we constantly talk about on here; better judges (four), sensible scoring, a return to the old way of alternating Latin and ballroom, less silly nonsense with the CGI, fewer themed pro group dances, more traditional music... nothing that couldn’t be easily sorted.

Bless him he's not got a lot of general knowledge. On House of Games there was a question where they had to correct one word of a sentence that had had a silly change. To paraphrase the question was

'Amundsen beat Scott to the South Circular'

He had no clue & actually debated changing South to North.

That's very true @PolkadotsAndMoonbeams - and how are the newbies supposed to get jobs if they're being clogged up with the same of faces every time? Must be so, so hard to break into mainstream / big time. Zoe Ball definitely had an advantage with her dad being famous. And Claudia too, come to think of it.

One of the few good things about this year is that Tess is prevented from groping the contestants and patting their arms while saying “awww your ickle face”.
