Well I never thought I would make it once I found out that instead of 8 programmes per series it increased to 12.
But thanks to Tier 4 and shockingly awful xmas tv I have watched from series 1 right through to series 7.
And the whole style towards the later series is so differint to the first 3. And the lovely photography.
And the plotting does get more and complex. Series 7 about the money laundering really baffled me first time round, and I think I just about grasped it this time.
re watching made me aware of just how much I miss when watching tv. My mind wanders off because of scenery or something irrelevant. I am embarrassed for myself.
But have also now seen what is the attraction of binge watching. far easier to keep up with plots etc..
Is it just me, but much as I like and am irritated by Laure, her work persona is almost like a rebellious teenager. Not just the way she responds but the way she moves.
Roban is more flawed than I had first seen him as.
But I still have high hopes for Josephine finding true happiness in a lesbian relationship. She gave a wonderful speech about men in one of the episodes.
Why do we know so little about Laure's background. We get snippets of other characters formative years.
I now know that Tin Tin is Luc - and he did far more for his ex partners than I remember. As Tom said to the "new boy" - he always thought they were a trio and then he found out they were a pair.
