That opening number was just dreadful. This woman at least a bit musical. Not great but better than a flipping school production.

Who is she, where did she come from, why is her album being advertised on telly?

Broadway star. Took over on Dreamgirls from Amber Riley in the West End and also recently in Waitress. She’s very famous in the MT world.
