5.30pm ITV1 (before the rugby) then results at 10pm (after the rugby)

I only watch tv once a year and that is to watch X Factor (I know I am sad, and should get out more...) but who is going to join me in this bundle of weekly fun?

My prediction for the final - Rhydian v Niki

But then you never know...

PaperChain · 14/11/2007 12:47

good prediction

but I have a sneaky suspiscion that Hope and Same Difference will go a long way in the competition....

Raahh · 14/11/2007 17:29

i am really hoping (scuse the pun) that Hope DON'T get to the final. We've got Girls Aloud, we don't need another sleazy girl group- and that is how they are being portrayed. 'Hanky Panky' was just hideous, and embarrassing.

Heaven forbid that same difference get to the final- they are of a completely different era of entertainment. I keep thinking of Keith Harris and Orville...

Bev and Niki just won't shift records, imo.

Raahh · 14/11/2007 17:46

Rhyd is wierd, and has suffered badly from the initial editing of him.BUT Saturday showed, that without gimmicks (apart from the hair ) and a good song, he really has what it takes.

I am SURE he wasn't blond in the auditions....

NAB3littlemonkeys · 14/11/2007 17:48

He was blonde in the auditions but he wasn't white!

Raahh · 14/11/2007 18:43

lol!

it has got whiter, hasn't it? I think he should tone it down. He looks way older than her is, i keep forgetting he in the UNDER 25's!!

Raahh · 14/11/2007 18:43

he is

PaperChain · 14/11/2007 20:00

pmsl at keith harris and orville!!!!

MummyPenguin · 15/11/2007 11:44

He does look older than 23 doesn't he? I think he's 23. Must be around that if in the under 25's. He's got a lush bod. He's a personal trainer. Don't know if any of you have seen footage of him on the ITV2 show when they're in the house, but ding dong.

MummyPenguin · 15/11/2007 11:46

I also think SD will go quite far too. Dare I say it, I'm starting to quite enjoy them

Who's going to get the boot this week then? Hmm, I think possibly Alisha or Leon (although he seems to get votes) or Hope.

Raahh · 15/11/2007 17:56

i want Alisha to go because a- she's lucky to still be in, and b- it will be funny to see Sharon's reaction when her final act gets the boot.

However, I think Leon is poor, and is on shaky ground. Iwould love to see Hope in the bottom 2 at least.

Does anyone know what this weeks theme is?

PaperChain · 15/11/2007 21:43

hi Raah - I aghreee about leon, he v weak, but I like Alisha - altho she hasnt performed well in the live shows

so what is the theme this week then?????

LuckyAnna · 17/11/2007 11:32

Really loving Rhydian, yeah ok he isnt most peoples cup of tea, but at least he has talent!!

Raahh · 17/11/2007 17:50

it's disco!!

if ANY of them sing 'i will survive', or 'dancing queen', i will be vv cross....

Naboo · 17/11/2007 19:36

are they kidding with the girl bands atire??!! are they blind. there was so many camels feet i didnt know where to look. they looked awful! poor things been dressed like they were wearing foil bags. am i the only one to think it?

anniebear · 17/11/2007 20:10

Thought Hope were good tonight

Didnt like Nicki, Simon was right!

Leon was ok but Im not keen, he is boring to watch and cant move around the stage well

still Like Rydian lots

anniebear · 17/11/2007 20:12

Thought Alisha was totally awful tonight

Really think she should go

and sharon is even more awful

she was wrong still going on about her act when she was commenting on Same Difference's performance

AttilaTheMeerkat · 17/11/2007 21:17

Why on earth is Leon through again?

He's flatter than Belgium.

MummyPenguin · 18/11/2007 12:02

Alisha must have packed her own bags last night, she really didn't make the most of that song, it was as if she was only half bothered about it.

Leon has a popularity from somewhere, I'm a bit puzzled about it too. I think he is getting better, but still doesn't look comfortable on stage. What was going on with his legs last night? He looked like he'd been sitting on a horse all day.

Agree about Hope's attire. Even DS2 (nearly 8) commented on it. I can see what Simon meant about Niki's 'mum at a wedding' performance.

I thought Rhydian might be in trouble, but his popularity got him through.

Flame · 18/11/2007 12:31

Who was the other one in the bottom two?

I could completely see the mum at a wedding thing.

I had been whinging to DH about the skaters who couldn't skate, and then Simon said exactly the same.

The "mentors" seem to be having sod all to do with their acts this year, it isn't like it used to be with all their own separate choreographers and stylists (the beardy dude with Sharon etc) - I think it could be because of that that it is the worst year ever. They are all being sausage factoried by the American guy.

Raahh · 18/11/2007 17:15

it was Hope and Alisha in the bottom 2- and i really don't see how Sharon will be able to sit there for the next few weeks without being sulky about it.

I thought Hope were dreadful- really not in tune at all (the harmonies were obviously coming from the backing singers/track, and not them). And the outfits

WHO is voting for Leon ??????? It was so bad- it reminded me of an easy listening version of disco, bit like when Mike Flowers covered 'wonderwall',

And this week, i can't even justify Same Differences performance, by saying at least they can sing- cos this week they couldn't.

Rhydian could have been in trouble, Dannii was resorting to gimmicks again, and doesn't seem to realise he doesn't need them. Pmsl when he told Dermot he liked all the male dancers

it is the worst year of the show so far- but i still love it !!!

CodDickinson · 18/11/2007 17:18

who went?

Flame · 18/11/2007 17:20

Alisha

stepfordwife · 18/11/2007 17:22
