I hated the way Aljas danced that - so OTT, like a grasshopper. Clara looked far more elegant

My controversial post was that DH had said that media was alive with talk of a "shock boot" and that fans were threatened to "riot" (don't ask me how they supposedly knew). I told him I didn't want to know.

I added that I expected Clara and JJ in the final with Clara to go, and that the only way I could see a "shock" boot was if Clara was up against one of the best couples, and sort of channelled her inner Flavia to improve, and the other couple, whoever they were fell over and broke all four of their legs.

This is not a shock boot for me - I fully expected Clara to go - didn't want her to, but expected her to.

She was joyful. Brought fun

I also echo whoever said that JJ has no charisma (contrary to what Motsi says). He’s like a wooden palette on legs.

She gave it her all (the trail of spit was unfortunate) and she will always have her charleston. People at home did see how special she was. Oh pros in Priscilla drag. That'll go down well.

I don’t think she had enough time to practice. HRVY said he was practicing for 11hours a day. Clara was still doing her radio show.

I agree with this - she must have been exhausted, and I think that's why she seems so heavy footed - her legs must feel as heavy as lead!

I thought that was her gold tassel from her top rather than a trail of spit?

She definitely danced better the second time and she gave it her all, but BVB delivered a cleaner performance.

I love both couples. I'm happy to see BvB and the wonderful Karen for another week (or more).

Shame JJ wasn't up against Clara although the judges could well have saved him with that classic waltz.

If Clara went through she probably wouldn't have survived whatever ridiculous theme the producers were planning to throw at her next week (Musicals).

The newspapers are bullshit artists who have used shock boot week in week out as clickbait...she had the lowest score two weeks in a row so least shocking exit ever.
