Following on from the last thread!

OP posts:

I wouldn't like a snake anywhere near me , but they just got on with it.

There'd be a me-shaped hole in the castle wall if anyone tried to put a snake around my neck.

Mo looked petrified. He's becoming my favourite, I think.

unique1986 · 20/11/2020 22:34

Dont like Giovanna at all.

the80sweregreat · 20/11/2020 22:34

I hate snakes so much!
They did well.

ILoveYou3000 · 20/11/2020 22:35

FFS - they’ve been in Wales less than a week!

And were isolating for two weeks before that. Its her way of staying connected to her kids. Really can't see the harm 🤷🏻‍♀️

Aragog · 20/11/2020 22:35

@Butterflyfluff

Giovanni does my head in with that stupid nose wave sh3 does when she’s on camera

FFS - they’ve been in Wales less than a week!

Think they've been there for a while longer due to isolation.

I looked on Gi Fletcher's Instagram and she was in Wales with their boys over half term, then she was allowed to have the youngest with her for the week after. He was then collected but she wasn't allowed close contact with those picking the child up at the end of that. Then they had a week in isolation without telephones/outside contact. And they've been in just under a week now.

So 3-4 weeks for most of them by now I think.

unique1986 · 20/11/2020 22:35

Ruthie grinning like a Cheshire cat all the way through.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 20/11/2020 22:36

I'm not a Victoria fan. I don't think I'm much if a Ruthie fan either but she has such a lovely voice when she talks.

Aragog · 20/11/2020 22:37

And yes it's a sign for her children.
List like a few of the others have some signs they're doing. Vernon wasn't even trying to be discrete - he just went to the tv screen and mouthed his message, and AJ just shouted happy birthday to his dad on the live trial.

So yes, they're all doing it.

unique1986 · 20/11/2020 22:37

Vernon and Ruthie only isolated for 1 week.
Guess its varies.
Anyway even I'd they were away for months so what.

Evasmissingletter · 20/11/2020 22:39

It’s boring now. Same style lame challenges just a different setting. Nothing original just rehashing same stuff over and over. Mini challenges too easy.

unique1986 · 20/11/2020 22:39

Victoria looks like shes southern rather than northern lol

the80sweregreat · 20/11/2020 22:40

I like Ruthie and Gi.
They are all at it with the signs and shout outs! It doesn't harm anyone does it?
It's only a silly reality show and a bit of fun during a crap year. At least they look happy.

Butterflyfluff · 20/11/2020 22:41

Anyway even I'd they were away for months so what.

Exactly - they’ve chosen to do this for the money / publicity

It’s just a bit naff now them all ‘communicating’ with home when they know they’re live

unique1986 · 20/11/2020 22:41

@Evasmissingletter

Yes it could be 2007 minus the sanitizer.

Aragog · 20/11/2020 22:42

Suspect it benefits the children at home a fair bit though in many cases - it's barred and is nice for the kids. Hence there's a lot of them with special signals and passing out messages. It's also the same every single year.

Let's face it communication IS important. And when parted sometimes just that little bit of communication can mean a lot to people. Hence why texts, telephone calls, video messages etc have been increasingly popular over lockdown.

the80sweregreat · 20/11/2020 22:43

It probably had its day years ago, but it's still popular and a bit of light entertainment!
This year we all need a giggle and I now know who Jordon North is so that is a good thing! 😃

unique1986 · 20/11/2020 22:45

During the war there was no phones 😉
Just a telegram every once in a blue moon.
It's got ridiculous. We dont need 24/ 7 contact.

Butterflyfluff · 20/11/2020 22:46

It just all seems so forced this year

They were starving by day 2. They got their comfort items after day 4

And they don’t seem to do anything other than the trials

Goodness know what they’ll do instead of the cyclone this year

the80sweregreat · 20/11/2020 22:48

People do communicate more these days I think. Maybe a bit too much , but it's just modern life. Years ago they didn't know any different.

unique1986 · 20/11/2020 22:48

I hate how some of the more well known ones are just going through the motions and thinking of the 200k pay packets.
Even Mo who's highest paid. It's like head down. Or sleep through it.

Theromanempire · 20/11/2020 22:52

Jess was so annoying - although I'm not sure how genuine it was because as soon as they threatened to start the timer, she seemed to just get on with it Hmm wonder if it was a tactic to encourage more airtime?

LagneyandCasey · 20/11/2020 22:53

So many horrible comments on here. They're probably bored of doing the signals by now themselves, but they know their kids will be looking out for them.

Theromanempire · 20/11/2020 22:53

And yes to Ruthie permanently grinning...it is a proper stage school look isn't it?

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 20/11/2020 22:53

Alright, Uncle Albert! 😂
