Need something to fill the Modern Family void!

Hi all,

Modern Family has been perfect for us. Don't always have time to watch a lot of TV so have loved having those cheery, 25min episodes for a long time - we're very nearly finished, argh!

Hoping someone has some recommendations for something light-hearted with short episodes that will fill the void?!

We've got Amazon Prime and Netflix

Snap @VictoriaClaire28 so following!! We did find Black-ish a good watch but I believe Amazon are now charging for it! Single Parents was also a good one but there have only been 2 seasons. The hunt goes on .....

Just have a little break and watch it again

Try The Goldbergs, its on E4 but is an american show. Series 7 is starting this week.... i miss modern family !

Its only a short series but special is very good

Our Modern Family void was filled by The US Office. I wanted to hate it because I’m a big fan of the original, but it’s great. Laugh out loud funny and great after a stressful day.

Recently watched “Offspring” on Netflix. Australian comedy quite funny and easy to watch/binge.

Malcom in the middle, every episode on 4OD.

Schitt’s Creek, The Office US and currently Parks and Rec are in the same vein id say. Offspring is a good one too.

Schitts creek and parks and recreation, both took me about a season to get into but then were brilliant. Schitts creek especially.

Also currently rewatching frasier on Amazon, still hilarious!

Brooklyn 99 is funny and short episodes and there are lots of them.

@mamapants we watched it on Sky - I think it was Comedy Central and they recently repeated it. I see it's currently on Amazon prime if you have it?

Snap! Since the latter part of lockdown, we've sat as a family and really laughed ;almost completely!) through the seven series.....

It's such a brilliant series. I'll be sad to see it go.

As a family we'll watch All Creatures Great and Small and Ghosts next I think.

Bob's burgers on amazon. When we get to the last episode we just go back to the start and watch it all again.
