Recommend me something on Netflix or Amazon Prime please?

I can’t remember where we watched what but just finished ‘this is us’ on Amazon Prime and absolutely loved it but lost without it. Please could you recommend something to watch with DH next?

Lucifer is so bad its good! Start off S1 on Prime and continue on Netflix from S4 (I think).

The Boys

The Boys on Amazon Prime is superb. A dark twist on the superhero genre and plenty of black comedy too. Some very graphic violence though so not for the faint hearted.

I always recommend The Americans!

Any more recommendations please.

Dead To Me on Netflix is great. Others I'd recommend are Giri/Haji, Orange is the New Black, Queen of the South. Will try and think of more!

PS All4 is excellent for thriller box sets. My fave was Stockholm Requiem - amazing!

We enjoyed The Purge series on Prime, and Slasher on Netflix. (as you can tell we are very high brow here)

Succession is AMAZING! As is Borgen, but watch in Swedish with subtitles rather than the dubbed version.

You like the same things as me OP. I felt the same way after This is Us. Good news is the new series is coming out in late October.

Not Netflix or Prime but I’ve just watched Us and 7.39 on BBC IPlayer.

I find after completing a large series I need to watch a few films or shorter things before I commit to another long one.
