If i liked This is us on Amazon Prime what else would I like?

Just binge watched all 4 series, recommend me something else similar that I'll like please?

I don't know, I loved it and haven't found anything to match it yet

I came on to say I haven't found anything nearly as good but can see I've been beaten to it by the last 2 posters.

This Is Us just has something so special about it.

Did you watch Brothers and Sisters? That's also on Prime I think. Calista Flockhart, Rob Lowe, Sally Fields. It's quite a few years old now but really good.

Parenthood is good too but I don't think you can stream it.

Brothers and sisters is a good call. I loved that. Just finished watching series 4 of this is us and feel bereft!

I’m halfway through S4. Does anyone know if they’ve filmed S5 and it’s on its way or has it been delayed? Love it too.

It’s a little less sentimental and a little more gritty but The Affair is very good (esp the earlier seasons) and similar to This is Us in terms of telling the stories from different perspectives and some moving around time periods. Worth a watch maybe?

The film Life Itself is directed by the same person and I enjoyed that a lot, it did get some bad reviews though but I don’t know of any series that are similar though

I sooo miss the Pearsons. They got me through the worst of lockdown (so far 🙁).

This is Us is incredibly engaging, I think about the characters often.
It deals with such truth in family life doesn't it?

I agree with the recommendation of Brothers and Sisters, that is an excellent series

I am going to say try Jane the Virgin. It's not the same style as This is Us but its heart is in the same place I feel. You will laugh and cry for sure.

Don’t shoot me - it’s more comedy than drama, and It’s set in S Wales rather than the US. But it deals with multigenerational up and downs of family lives and loves.

We love This Is Us. Best thing on Tv- totally unique. We have recently really enjoyed Little Fires Everywhere.

I loved The Good Wife just as much as This is Us

Another one who says there’s nothing like This is Us.

They’re filming series 5 now and it’s showing in America from the end of October. Last year we got series 3 at Christmas after it launched in November in the US so I’m hoping for that again.

This is Us is fantastic and in a league of its own. I agree with Brothers and Sisters as a good choice. Have you seen Sweet Magnolias? I really enjoyed that. Little Fires Everywhere also very good.

the Marvelous Mrs Maisel is also enjoyable. not in the same league as This is us, though- nothing comes close

Definitely Parenthood. It has Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls. Family drama, adult siblings etc

Offspring! Can't remember if it's on Prime or Netflix but it's fab. Set in Australia, it's about a large family with the main character being an Obstetrician. I think there are 5 or 6 series too, enjoy!!!

I’m at home in bed waiting for the results of my Covid test. And thanks to this thread have just found ‘This is us’..... love IT! The first episode was so sad!! But lovely and heart warming
