Just binge watched all 4 series, recommend me something else similar that I'll like please?

I’m binge watching and on episode 5, I’ve sobbed at every episode so far.
just lovely.

Love how it flits between present day and the past to unravel the stories.
I’m intrigued to find out what happened to Jack- please don’t tell me though!

Gosh, This is Us is the most emotional thing I’ve watched for ages. Every single episode you will cry. It’s so affecting. It’s because Jack’s death hangs over so much of it. The scenes in the past are all tinged with the sadness of us, the viewers, knowing the future already.

I think also because it deals with so many issues everyone can find something that strikes a chord. I think it deals with the intricacies of family relationships so well. List may contain spoilers so don’t read if you aren’t up to date!!!!

Really loved this is us too. Someone on here suggested Offspring to us its Austrailian and about a large extended family. Its set much more recently than this is us. Really enjoying it. I absolutely love the colours and clothes Nina the main character wears. Give it a go.

I loved Offspring! I binge watched all 7 seasons of it and was so upset when I finished it.
Now waiting with baited breath for This Is us again.

I liked New Amsterdam on prime too. Medical drama with engaging characters

I adore TIU. Only discovered it this year but I was bereft when I got to the end. New series starts 28th on Prime.

What’s Offspring about? Where can you watch it?

Offspring is an Austrailian series on Netflix. It centres around Nina the main character who is an obstetrician and her large extended family. Give it a go.

This Is Us was my lockdown watch during the first lockdown. I am also saving season 5 for a while so I can binge watch it all.

I have started watching Gilmore Girls for this lockdown which I absolutely love (even though Milo Ventimiglia looks about 12 in it)

Whilst This is us is off-air, I'm re-watching Brothers and Sisters.

I'm watching Mad Men on Prime, it's very good.

If you don’t mind subtitles, The Legacy (Danish) is fantastic.

I’ve been a bit disappointed with the first few episodes of the new series of This Is Us.

I discovered This is Us by chance a few months ago whilst looking for something new to watch. I loved watching it so much and am missing the characters. I’ve started season 5. I love the cinematography and the way it moves seamlessly from decade to decade. It really made me think about my own life experiences and my parenting style. Can’t wait for more. I now have the soundtrack on Spotify too which is brilliant.
