Mackenzie was brought up by her mother once her father buggered off, then went to an aunt when her mother died. Can't remember what brought her to Erinsborough. The families knew one another back in Colac, but Mackenzie only lived with the Rebecchis in her late teens.

WHY are they bringing all these old characters back?! I mean it makes no sense that Jane is living with the BooBoos in the first place so the storyline of her being there is nonsensical. The Jane/Des/Clive scene at the end of todays was like some super awful AmDram performance. Just what's the point?
