I took Chloe's name to be a way of him showing her she is part of the family and that Nicolette is twisting everything to turn her against him.

Oh yeah, Nicolette is very manipulative but Chloe’s instant reaction was “oh” and I would be too. He knows her name. It’s a weird thing to do. It’s not even just work, he hasn’t changed it full stop. He could have done it another way maybe but he didn’t, like Chloe - Grayson Vineyard or something.
But the way he shut her down and got mad was so quickly too. I know in theory he might still be grieving and acting out but it doesn’t seem like it (that might be his acting though).

I think he didn't realise it would upset her but his heart was in the right place. It wouldn't have been so bad had Nic not stirred it up. Chloe repeated her word for word to Pierce

I think Chloe is quite princessy and ungracious particularly about the diamonds. Don't like Nicolette, horrible and manipulative.

Re the diamonds, i think its knowing that he then won't talk about the problems because he'll think he's made everything fine because he brought the answer. Typical rich man i can buy anything and anyone.

I did think it was funny in the showdown with Scarlet at the gallery, when Lou's big face was grinning down amidst all the drama.

Pierce in theory might be grieving the baby he was so excited for. If this was real life. But it’s neighbours where emotions last a week at best.

I totally empathise with phases of being pissed off at every single thing your husband does, though. And then getting some real attention from a very rich handsome man would divert a lot of women. If I were her, I'd also be worrying about how the grown-up children will view her when they find out. It won't matter to them how much Shane had disappointed her, they'll just see that she had some afternoon delight 😏
