The Fall: Gillian Anderson.......is this normal?

So, watching this after a recommendation here

(though I say watching I am actually fast forwarding loads as there is a lot of sexual violence towards women so I skip all that)....

but this is the first time I have ever watched Gillian Anderson in anything....is this how she talks the whole time?.....in a whisper.....so slowly....

I am trying to imagine her as a coper on the beat...(as her character must have been once).... and thinking she wouldn't last 5 minutes out on the street.....now on Series 3 and it seems to be getting worse......

is this what she is always like or is it just The Fall?

Agree season three was a bit meh. Was waiting fir the Katy storyline to mean something, and it was a bit as if they ran out if ideas of where to go ajd brought in this carrier bag thing out of nowhere.

But gillian is amazing all the way through against all the men who seek the think they know better, or feel they have a right to shame her if they cant sleep with her...

Hannibal is magnificent. Her blouses are Stella McCartney apparently. I also thought it was insane that the intensive care nurse was just his type (and had an annoying and impractical fringe).

They introduced it as a way to kill him.off. interviewed rose stagg who suddenly confessed they had dabbled in " breath play" with and he topped himself by putting a bag over his head. Seemed to be purely to try amd make it make sense

Half way through season 3 and he may play a strangler but my god does Jamie dornan give me fanny gallops 😍

I was so distracted by Aisling being the nurse, as I love her humour, that I completely missed the fact that there should be a copper in the room with him. I did find it absurd that his victim Rose could see him from her bed, and they were surprised she wanted to leave 🤷‍♀️
