Please tell me I’m not the only one that will have to watch a few video recaps and possible the last episode of Season 2 before I get sucked into this world again.

Looking forward to seeing Jonas’ face again...

I didn't watch the last episode again

I did watch the whole of Dark Season 3 today though.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 28/06/2020 02:57

I will join you shortly

I am exactly halfway through

Once finishers are discussing it you may want to ask HQ to put a Spoiler Warning on the title

Rollergirl11 · 28/06/2020 19:59

I’ve watched 2 episodes so far. I was pretty much confused and not able to keep track of what was going on all through season 2 so I reckon I’m gonna struggle!

Just have one question, are we supposed to know the 3 generations of male with scarred lip?

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 28/06/2020 20:19

No. I have 2 episodes to go and he is yet to be identified

DieSchottin93 · 28/06/2020 23:37

I finished series 3 today. Without giving too much away a lot is explained in the last two episodes Smile

heymammy · 28/06/2020 23:56

Yaaas! I only watched S1&2 during lockdown and was delighted when dd told me s3 was coming out so soon...no recaps needed! It was not the show I was expecting it to be at all, I'm so glad I watched it.

I found myself forgetting which characters were which, esp in s2, so I'll take my time a bit more in s3. Need to leave this thread now before the spoilers start Wink

Artinsurance · 28/06/2020 23:57

We decided to rewatch all of season 2 as our memories are failing us 😀 Hopefully we will be watching season 3 before the end of the week.

Smileymoo · 29/06/2020 00:25

Oooh so looking forward to watching it. Loved the first 2 series. Great storyline and some of the acting is fantastic. Wanted to watch it last night but hubby insisted on watching a movie instead :(

Doingtheboxerbeat · 29/06/2020 00:39

I rewatched all of S1 & 2, and I am 3 episodes into S3 and I feel like I have been hit over the head with a rock. Super confused but will plug on. I love older Jonas and want to have his children.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 29/06/2020 01:40

Just finished.

Season 3 is ultra complicated with a simple yet satisfying ending. One of the YouTube videos I watched "explaining" got an important fact about the Origin wrong and I was like No No No No No. GrinBlush

I dont want to start posting stuff til there is a spoiler warning in place though, because inevitably someone will kick off. Happens like clockwork.,

No - the 3 three all dressed the same are new characters. We don't find out who they are until last or last but one episode.

I watched the whole thing - then had to go onto Wikipedia to have it explained to me! (Mind utterly blown - kept getting confused about when/where each scene was!)

User647647 · 29/06/2020 17:34

Oh, everyone’s ahead of me now, I’ve watched a couple of recaps on YouTube and feel ready...

I can’t believe some of you watched it all in one day, it’s so intense!

I think I’ll have to stop every couple of episodes and watch something lighthearted like Schitt’s Creek.

Is it because of cliffhangers or do you usually binge watch until you’re done?

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 29/06/2020 18:23

I mostly do it to avoid spoilers. Far too easy to get spoiled these days.

Doingtheboxerbeat · 29/06/2020 18:34

Plus it's too confusing, I'm afraid I will forget important details and I had no idea that I could get recaps on YouTube Hmm - that's helpful to know.

0blio · 29/06/2020 19:41

I like to watch an episode at a time so I can process it then read about it, then maybe watch it again...and I don't want to finish it too soon!
Fabulous series, a real challenge. I felt such a sense of achievement when I finished s1 & 2 and understood most of it.
I've watched 3 episodes of s3 and it's even more convoluted!

Rollergirl11 · 29/06/2020 20:43

I’m sooo confused! There’s now so many different timelines and alternate realities and I have no fucking idea what’s going on!! 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🥴

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 29/06/2020 20:56

No fear it all works out in an easy to understand way- honest

Rollergirl11 · 29/06/2020 21:07

Can I ask a question to check my understanding from series 2 that’s a spoiler if you haven’t watched series 2?

DieSchottin93 · 29/06/2020 21:18

@Rollergirl11 ask away, it's been over a year since S2 so I think you're safe to ask Grin

Rollergirl11 · 29/06/2020 21:28

What’s the deal with Charlotte and Noah? Is Noah her Dad and her Mum is future Elisabeth, her deaf daughter? Or something like that? So a complete paradox, basically?

rosegoldwatcher · 29/06/2020 21:53

@Rollergirl11 - yep - Elizabeth is both her mother and her daughter!

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 29/06/2020 22:35

I could further explain about Noah but it would be a spoiler for right near the end of the series

Rollergirl11 · 29/06/2020 22:43

But is Noah her Dad? I thought it was him in the picture with her as a baby? We saw that in series 2 didn’t we?

DieSchottin93 · 29/06/2020 22:47

@Rollergirl11 keep watching series 3 Grin

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 29/06/2020 22:50

Noah is Charlotte's Dad
Charlotte and Peter are Elisabeth's parents
Elisabeth then had Charlotte with Noah after the Apocalypse, naming her new baby after her Mum.
That baby was then taken from post apocalypse to the past, to grow up as the supposed orphaned granddaughter of HG Tannhaus, solely so she can grow up to give birth to Elisabeth and complete the loop.
