Well, Nasty Nick was not quite as nasty as I remember! Grin All seemed like a huge mountain out of a molehill 🤷🏼‍♀️

Really hoping they show 'Fight Night' as it really went completely wild in there that night.

Anyway, here's to BB!

Ryan presented the c5 version of Big Brothers Little Brother

dayswithaY · 16/06/2020 18:02

I'm shocked. I watched every minute of CBB 2006 and I don't remember seeing all that crass behaviour or maybe it was just normal to us then? Dennis was completely out of order! Why the hell did E4 show Barrymore's Hitler act and all the gross sexual harassment but issue a warning the night before about how some scenes on BB1 weren't suitable for 2020 audiences? Arse slapping and laughing at Nazis is ok? Strange editing choice.

Marsalimay · 16/06/2020 18:25

Oh my god. I've started episode 2. Wow, Barrymore's impressions, Preston smoking at the kitchen table.. I do remember Dennis Rodman's predatory behaviour and Pete Burn being horrible though.

Chantelle and Preston were quite sweet.

Marsalimay · 16/06/2020 18:27

Thanks for the explanation of Ryan, he seems like he'd make a great presenter.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 19:33

I've just been watching the series one episode with Nasty Nick. They all seemed older back then but they weren't were they? Just more mature.

Mel was shown in a good light in that episode. I remember hating her. She got a huge percentage of votes to evict didn't she? 80+% I seem to remember. I was away for the weekend on the night she was up and I got my friend to text me the result! And I'll never forget how she used to pull out her pubic hair in the garden with a pair of tweezers.

LoveLoveLove2020 · 16/06/2020 20:37

@AnneEyhtMeyer
Mel plucking her pubic hair is how I always remember her as well!
I can't remember why she was portrayed as a villain- was it something to do with her flirting with someone maybe?

LoveLoveLove2020 · 16/06/2020 20:42

I remember Jodie Marsh being really picked on and bullied by Barrymore. Also the whole drinking drama 'poor me pour me another' aimed at Barrymore.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 20:43

I can't remember either @LoveLoveLove2020 Grin but she really was hated! She used to like giving sexy massages to Tom didn't she?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 20:44

I can't wait for tonight's episode.

StilaOnTheWrongPlane · 16/06/2020 21:00

Redcrayons · 16/06/2020 21:03

Oh the golden ticket! I’d forgotten about that. Was it in kitkats or something?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 21:03

Horse Face Grace!!!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 21:04

Can't believe Grace and Mikey are still married.

StoorieHoose · 16/06/2020 21:05

Are they? Shock

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 21:05

Yes @Redcrayons - her husband bought loads of whatever it was to get her a ticket. A modern day Veruca Salt.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 21:06

Yes apparently @StoorieHoose.

StilaOnTheWrongPlane · 16/06/2020 21:06

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 21:07

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/06/2020 21:10

Remember Glyn in the kitchen in that restaurant task? He was so funny.

Popper56 · 16/06/2020 21:10

I'd forgotten Ashleyne "know your place little girl" was in this too!

StilaOnTheWrongPlane · 16/06/2020 21:10
