I’d forgotten about that. I recognize Bear and Ruhma...that looks like Satnam Rana from Midlands Today in the top middle? Who are the other two?

FuzzyPuffling · 14/10/2020 13:17

Helloo funster. I'm here now (but obviously wasn't here yesterday!)

You're never alone with a docTors thread.

I had forgotten all about Bear. How could I? (I was in a happy place. I'm not now)

Hello, I'm still around and as fed up as the next person with the neverending covid 19.
At least we're safe and well and looking forward to Doctors returning.

Funster73 · 14/10/2020 14:41

@FuzzyPuffling he was looking good Smile

It was also the producer Mike someone...and the Assistant Director Rachel.

They mostly talked about how to get into the business etc..

It was interesting and was being recorded so will probably be available in the RTS site at sometime.

FuzzyPuffling · 14/10/2020 17:10

You mean he wasn't wearing anything checked? Disappointing.

Well there’s been no date confirmation from the BBC even though they said it’d be announced this week (‘spose the week’s not over yet though) but Verity Rushworth (the new receptionist, was her name Lily?) has put a photo of Al on Instagram with a hashtag saying #Doctors 2ndNov.

FuzzyPuffling · 16/10/2020 18:12

I shall need docTors by November. It's that "after lunch coffee and a slob" moment.

Seen that 'Doctors' slot is occupied by another programme that has 25 episodes from next Monday, so assuming that 'Doctors' isn't coming back any time soon. I wish they'd just let us know that its either been cancelled, or will come back eventually.

It’s not been cancelled, some cast members have posted photos and videos from filming. I’m in the West Midlands and our local BBC news did a feature when filming resumed back in the Summer. It was announced on This Morning a few weeks ago that it would be back on TV on Nov 2nd, the BBC said that a date would be confirmed this week (nothing so far) and a cast member posted Nov 2nd in a hashtag a couple of days ago.

Maybe there’s been a hold up with production, or the programme that’s in it’s place from Monday will be pushed back by 30 minutes.

MadisonAvenue · 21/10/2020 14:58

Finally confirmed by the BBC for Nov 2nd Grin

Afternoon! Just getting the thread back on my list.

Hope everyone is well.

Bit strange here, with constant school isolations (3 times in one half term for dd1!) and medical stuff for dd2, which is taking a lot of get used to.

Can't wait for Doctors to come back!

FuzzyPuffling · 23/10/2020 21:14

Hello raahh! Hope your all ok in the raahh household and that the medics are dealing kindly with miniraahh.

Yes, looks like 'Doctors' is coming back on 2nd November - yayy Smile. I love the programme because it slips under the radar, meaning it can showcase things that the mainstream soaps don't.

Raahh · 24/10/2020 10:06

Fuzzy every is going ok- DD2 is being a star- it's a big thing, but she is really doing well. We get home visits from the Stoma nurses, get us! Grin. No idea when she will go back to school, and after all the time of she has already had this year, it's a small worry- but a very small one, in the grand scheme of things, really.

ThePankhurstConnection · 24/10/2020 13:44

I only pop in every so often but like to read you all. I knew you'd have the inside track. Yay for Doctor's return in November, something to look forward to in the midst of all this. Thank you lovely people of the Doctor's thread for cheering me up and keeping me informed. Flowers

FuzzyPuffling · 24/10/2020 16:59

That's good to hear raahh. Kids are such a worry! And hello to ThePankhurstConnection. Hang on in there and get your badger dress ready!

Aaah , I was just thinking t'other day , I only watch Doctors on the Hallowe'en and the Christmas episodes .
But there won't be a Hallowe'en episode .

They've had some corkers
There was a seance (with Val)
One in a NightClub
One where they were in the Surgery and there was a boy
One where GobbyPlod (the only reason I watch at all is Rob) was being all arsey and watching TV but there was a visitor or something .

Raahh · 25/10/2020 10:08

70s I know, it's sad isn't it? This year has robbed us of all the small, seemingly trivial stuff. But at the moment, I think at a lot of people would love some mindless trivial stuff just now. I love when Doctors is just daft escapism.

I will be wearing my (Imaginary) Badgers dress, and cat cardigan on the 3rd, and I can't wait.

(I will be wearing actual clothes, don't worry. I won't be sitting here naked. It would scare the dog).

Looks like we’re getting four episodes rather than five each week, Mon-Thurs. Just been having a nosey on the BBC page.

EerilyDeleted · 28/10/2020 04:22

Oh, that's annoying, Friday is the only day I can normally watch it live.

Redshoeblueshoe · 30/10/2020 15:39

Three days to go.
Lovely to see you all. Here in Manchester we're in a Tier 3, I hope you are all well. Fuzzy I have been thinking of you during lockdown, my DD and her family have been shielding, it was not fun.
