I watched the penultimate episode where Joe chucked the Alexa out the window. Just have the lockdown special one to catch up on.
DH keeps asking why do we not like Ruhma (I'm usually muttering I hope she gets fired/run over/leaves. All three really)

I'm okay energy wise in the morning. But the afternoons usually find me having a snooze.

We have masks. I hate them, as no matter what I do, my glasses steam up. I am doing something wrong.

Of course, in theory, dd2 could be back at school this week. In a mixed bubble with year 5, sitting on top of each other I think. Only he can't because they haven't got enough places.

So we will stick to being alert from the living room .

Try adding some white to the top so you can fit it around the nose. It may help reduce steaming.

Bingle thnks. The ones we have do have wire, but I'm not sure if it just me, or the shape of my nose . I will figure them out eventually. So far I haven't had to wear one for too long. I feel sorry for ds- he is back at work, and has been wearing them all day.

I'm only wearing them for short periods (going into shops etc) but am making sure I wear my contact lenses not glasses because of the steaming up. I feel for people who have to work in them.

I'm still missing Doctors it was perfect for WFH lunchbreaks. I have joined a Doctors FB group but it's fairly quiet ATM, unsurprisingly.

Poor lad! They are horrible. Do you wear it quite tight? It does need to be to reduce flogging.

This has been a very long week. And a very soggy one!

I've just seen a great tweet from Sarah Moyle (Val) who was out cycling, and bumped into Mark Rylance, the actor.

I have been in love with Mark Rylance, since 1988, when I saw him do Hamlet, in striped pyjamas. .

I so want Sarah Moyle to go on Strictly. Owain as well. They would both be amazing.

Oh, Easily they would both be amazing. Especially Sarah- it would be great for the show- and she can definitely dance a bit.

Miss Owain at the moment, he has been off because it was his husband's birthday, I think.

I was wondering when filming was restarting too, I haven’t seen any updates about it either.

I vaguely remember (when they did the FB live thing before the Lockdown episode) that they said they might be returning to filming in July. But it seems like ages ago now- and I have probably mis-remembered!

They did, but no sign yet.

It should have been dd2's last day in year 4 today. I can't believe the girls have been out of school since March -it feels so strange. At the same time- Magic September is not that far off.

I survived the lack of tennis. Just. I am sad that the Olympics should be starting.

I have enjoyed the Doctors substitute 'The Heights'- series one finished today. Fortunately, series two starts Monday.

Anyway- hopefully - soon Doctors will be back. along with all the other soaps.

Red ! New series of the Heights- and it's a new Pav! Who is a bit younger than the other, not so convincing as 'drug addled ex-cop'.

The new actor is 12 years younger than Marcus Graham (the original Pav- who once went out with Nicole Kidman).

That's bonkers casting .
