Will Yasmeen get her freedom or will she languish in the jail (where so many have before her!) by the end of this thread?

Is it possible Yasmeen has decided she is safer in prison than out on the street where Geoff can get to her?

Yes! As a Welsh first language speaker, it actually really annoys me, because they don’t even try to say it any differently to Cleo!

SmallSteps yes I agree, Aliya saying 'he could do it to someone else' seemed to trigger a reaction in Yasmin.
And wre have to bear in mind, she's been stuck in prison for a time (no idea how long, could be weeks!) so has been away from her tormentor who has virtually imprisoned her in her own home. He never left her alone, was always checking on her, she never went out, she was just in his power.
Now she's been stuck in a cell with time to think.

I think it was a big step to tell whatshisname that he had been meeting escorts.

Would be fabulous if the Asha storyline developed to show her handling the vile situation, and becoming stronger because of it. Great example to DC who are bullied.

Because I think Geoff is having real trouble holding on to his temper. When Sally wouldn't stay for a drink with him in the Rovers on Wednesday, he wanted to snarl at her, and had to really fix his face with a smile, whilst muttering under his breath.

He is close to losing his temper, and pushing him will make that happen.

Why hasn't Aliyah spokennto the police in a real way. Like about the money? How he lies about the hotel? The fake reviews and he threatened her in the sitting room?

How are you supposed to pronounce Llio?

The LL is like a very hard to describe sound and c would be the closest thing in English. If you make an L sound with your tongue/lips then roll your tongue back a bit, then breathe out around it you might get close.

So to answer your question it's almost exactly like Cleo but more singsongy, a longer ee sound and with the ll at the start.

Is it like the ch in loch or ough in lough? or the Llin Llanelli?

Just a thought if Yasmin has been treated for clamidia and Jeff has admitted to seeing escorts then it makes nonsense of his statement to the police that he went to see them because in his words " he wasn't getting any at home".
