That’s really odd that Max and Asha are the same age, he seems emotionally and intellectually about 5 years younger, ditto Hope to Jack. Hope seems about 7 whereas Jack seems more like 11. Irl Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha, is 17 and seems like it. Not sure about Max but he seems like a tall 12 year old. But I suppose he’s not meant to be a mental giant whereas Asha is very clever.

They’ve deliberately aged Asha and Aadi by a year to put them in a friendship group with Amy and Simon - so effectively, Max is over 18 months younger than the twins.

With Jack, I think when they last recast him they had the amputation storyline in mind, so they needed a more mature actor. I’m guessing he’s at least a couple of years older in real life.

Jack is 13 irl.

Still don't understand why Toyah thinks fostering would cause Leanne so much upset.

Leanne and Toyah do make believable sisters tho (I know they’re step sisters ) they both have miserable sour faces.

Hopefully this latest disagreement over fostering will result in a break up and they can set Imran up with a new woman who is worthy of him. I'll audition for the part. I've no acting skills or training so I'll fit in with at least half the cast straight away.

I am going to watch with the sound off until Yasmeen reappears; can’t stand Fizz , Leanne or Gemma at the moment.

I actually felt a bit sorry for Simon. Then got distracted by Imran's tight T shirt then felt queasy when Fizz told Tyrone he was going to get lucky.

I watched Waking the Dead on iplayer after Corrie & Phelan popped up as a bent copper. Gave me a bit of a turn.

Literally came on to see whether anyone had mentioned Sarah's coat!

Agree with something said further up thread about it seeming to be a 'tick box' exercise, as though they have a hat and pull out a different 'ishoo' every couple of months. Never much follow up afterwards, so depressing. I know these things do happen in real life but not on the same street! I'm loving Classic Corrie in contrast, with ordinary everyday conversation etc.

Did anyone else like the top Fizz was wearing, it was greenish and a bit sparkly. Wanted to know where she got it from. Posted on S&B but didn't get any replies. Here's hoping Corrie fans can help.

Imran seems very upset about putting the fostering on hold, but isn't this a very recent thing, i don't even remember them discussing it? We thought about fostering for years before we contacted anyone and the other carers i know were the same.

The fostering thing has just popped up from nowhere; they are hardly good candidates living in a shared flat would be a no surely.
