Mystery man in the rovers looked really angry that the two were blackmailing Carla, like far more angry than he should have done. There's more to his connection with Carla.

Enjoyed that episode, it flipped the cliches and actually surprised me.

I agree monkeytoes. His reaction wasn’t that of a casual bystander.

I loved it when German lass said “you won’t hurt a woman” and Abbie said “I will”

OP my DP said exactly the same as you. He didn't think it was Peter, now I agree and think it was the guest.

That Rovers scene was so good, we need to see more writing like that.

I loved this last episode as well. I liked the way that for once the writers seemed to have really considered what a woman like Carla would actually do in a certain situation. So often we see characters suddenly act in new strange ways that don't make sense for their character, (looking at you, Dev) so it was good to see Carla do something totally in character but still not entirely predictable. I really hope Peter hasn't done something stupid though!

I can’t remember if Carla and Peter were back together when she had the breakdown but either way I love the way he didn’t say one thing about her sleeping with gross squat guy and just was on her side completely. I normally think Peter is a twat (for previous behaviour) but that’s was great

Has anyone else noticed that all the drug addicts and loosers in Corrie have perfect teeth. The bloke threatening Carla looked as if he'd come straight from a teeth whitening clinic. Abbie who was so addicted to drugs and alcohol that she lost her twins is another plus she obviously took Seb to the dentists in the midst of her addiction.
I wonder if it's beyond the makeup artists to do teeth.

Is there one rough estate or several? If there is only one, Abbie will know the drug scene in it. She has forgotten the twins, I had forgotten Seb again. There are just too many people.

The twins will be back in the future, can't remember how old they are supposed to be now.
I bet they will turn up at the posh new school aldi and asda are at or will come to find their birth mother at an inconvenient time.

But within the radius of Corrie? I imagine the rough estate is about 20 houses, like the hospital is 2 private rooms and 3 staff. Nobody ever has a Waitrose bag that they bought when the picked up a few bits on a day out, nobody ever goes to Lidl for a chainsaw.
Shopping local will be easy in the weeks to come, maybe Dr Ali could return in a new role as a public health expert, and incredible lockdown hair.

Did Carla and Johnny ever do a DNA test to determine if they were father and daughter? Or did they just figure it out? DH thinks that the Rovers mystery man is Carla's dad.

I'm still baffled by the Tim's mum mystery. Did he not get brought up by her so he knows what she is like. Does Sally not communicate with her or ask him what his experience was etc.

Why is he not annoyed that Geoff did not stand by his mum? Doesn't quite add up

Abbi's twins will suddenly turn up when a new storyline is needed.She seems to have completely forgotten about them but when and if they turn up she will be the devoted mother all of a sudden

Carla and Peter were great. Homeless/druggies whatevers are in very good nick generally, good hair teeth and skin, she has lots of gold jewellery too. I was hoping everyone in the Rovers would stand up in an 'i am spartacus' way.
