Who else loved this genius show when they were younger?

Hal was the best. Loved Reese. I wonder what their characters would be doing now.

I loved it! I named one of my lads Francis after the naughty older brother 😂

glitterelf · 14/05/2020 20:21

We loved it and I'm gutted that I cannot find the series anywhere because now would be a great time to watch it with my 6yr old and lift some spirits.

glitterelf · 14/05/2020 20:22

Forgot to say our family motto snatched from the show, A family that fights together stays together Smile

Redcliff · 14/05/2020 20:26

Such a good show. I bonded at work with someone at work a good 20 years younger than me over the speed walking episode.

Me too - DC haven't seen it ever and I'd love to share it with them!

Lois is my parenting role model.

Auntgiraffe · 14/05/2020 21:22

I love it, I feel like I am slowly becoming Lois, one kid at a time.

MamaGothel · 14/05/2020 21:26

Yes! I loved every character on this show. I think Reese is my favourite though, followed by Lois

magicstar1 · 14/05/2020 21:28

I love it! The scene with Lois fighting in the car park is genius.

bookmum08 · 14/05/2020 21:35

Oh I loved it so much. Before lockdown I was on the search in charity shops for the dvd set because I think my daughter would love it.

bookmum08 · 14/05/2020 21:37

Do you think Lois ended up with her much wanted girl when she discovered she was pregnant again at the end?

southernbelles · 14/05/2020 21:38

Always loved it, such a clever show!

tutorwho · 14/05/2020 21:39

It was on TV recently... maybe Comedy Central? I loved the series too.. especially how Dewey is oblivious to some of the trouble he causes.

FTMF30 · 14/05/2020 21:41

My little sister once randomly jumped out of her seat to join singing the theme tune of this right in my face. Then slumped back in her seat for the "life is unfair" ending.

Whenever I think of Malcolm in the Middle, I remember that random outburst from my sister.

FTMF30 · 14/05/2020 21:42

I also fancied the older brother.

ThrowTheBookandtheBookcase · 14/05/2020 21:43

I loved this! Enjoyed the one where the boys became feminist heroes when they held a sit in on a giant billboard - think they were just hiding from Lois's wrath Grin

bookmum08 · 14/05/2020 21:47

A quick Google of the dates it was broadcast and the ages of their characters Malcolm and Reese would be in their early 30s !! That's scary. Francis was older so he would be mid 30s. Do you think he would still be married to Piama? She was shouty and bossy - so Francis had essentially married his Mom ! Ha ha. Lois and Hal are probably grandparents now and I bet Lois is sweet and gentle to her grandkids !

IRememberSoIDo · 14/05/2020 21:55

It was on Comedy Central within the last few years. Such a funny programme. My eldest remembers it clearly. I'd love them to rerun it again. My youngest would LOVE it!

Autumnchill · 14/05/2020 21:57

My favourite is when the neighbour has the monkey helper 😁 I laughed so hard when the monkey cut off the call to 911

Butterflyonmyshoulder · 14/05/2020 22:54

Such a brilliant show. We used to make sure we were sitting down to watch this as a family. Happy memories.

ArseholesOnToast · 14/05/2020 22:54

I loved this. I also quite fancied the oldest brother.

I liked Lois’s colleague (or maybe boss) whose cat they looked after. Can’t remember his name but I think the cat was called Jellybean.

Would love to binge watch this again.

SamanthaJayne4 · 14/05/2020 23:24

I liked when Hal was roller skating to funky music and when he screamed. Which was quite often.

northernlittledonkey · 14/05/2020 23:28

Me too, loved it!

HarrietTheShy · 14/05/2020 23:31

It's aged really well. It's on Hulu in the US. Come to Netflix!

Custardcreamies101 · 14/05/2020 23:32

Apparently the guy that played Malcom had an accident and lost a lot of his memory. He can’t remember most of his time on the show.

I loved the show.....the theme tune I always remember. Especially the life is unfair bit.
