Hopefully not before the end of this thread! Sad

Didn't Ryan promise Alya he would keep an eye on her?

NCTDN · 30/04/2020 09:46

I think that yasmeen is also doing a fantastic job. She looks like she's shrunk over the last few months.

NCTDN · 30/04/2020 09:46

The actress I mean.

Roussette · 30/04/2020 10:11

I'm amazed no one on the Street has noticed what Yasmeen is going through. She looks downtrodden, thin, and terrified if ever she is out the house.

I hated how he made her do Yazz Hands. Vile

thenightsky · 30/04/2020 10:28

I can remember when they first started going out and Yasmeen didn’t want a sexual relationship. Even back then the control was there, he coerced her by sulking.

Oh yes! I'd forgotten that.

Wasn't he also mean to Audrey when he knew she fancied him? He invited her onto his radio show, then buggered off, leaving her locked in the little room.

eggandonion · 30/04/2020 10:29

Ryan is unreliable. Where is he, maybe Gary has done him in.

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 30/04/2020 10:33

Dont foeget the episodes have been stretched out.
So to us, Ryan hasn't been seen for a month, but in the weird Corrie Time Zone it's only been a couple of days since Alya left.

eddiemairswife · 30/04/2020 10:59

I'd completely forgotten Ryan. Was he one of Michelle's sons?

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 30/04/2020 11:15

eddiemairswife
Yep, He's the not Dr one, the DJ / Barman / Gary's Punchbag one.

ajandjjmum · 30/04/2020 11:15

It does seem slightly odd doesn't it Monkey - like the Easter Eggs last week!

On the whole though, it's escapism at the moment, and I'm glad they're just pressing on with the reduced episodes.

Ryan is 'one' of Michelle's sons - he's with Alyiah who is currently on a 14 day long weekend! Grin

What happened to Dr Ali/Ryan's other Mum? Shes never mentioned. They both live near Michelle and seem to have forgotten the other woman.

Unless I've got the storyline completely wrong and there isnt another Mum?

Spam88 · 30/04/2020 11:38

There definitely is another mum - didn't Ali not want anything to do with Michelle because he already had a mum? Guess he got over that though.

PorpentiaScamander · 30/04/2020 11:40

Speaking of Michelle, where is she? Did she leave or is she in the bath?

eggandonion · 30/04/2020 11:40

Michelle forgot about the other mum too. it was an interesting nature nurture storyline until the writers got muddled into them being brothers. I'd like Ali and his hair back.

It really does. Monday's ended with Yasmeen and Geoff, Wednesday's started with them... Like they'd been stood staring at eachother for 48 hours in some bizarre staring competition.

But if my memory serves, they went 3 episodes a week from the 30th march. So Mondays and last night's should have both been on on the 13 April, so barely 2 weeks of Corrie Time.

scaryreading · 30/04/2020 13:15

Surely Yasmeen would have been in the garden and spoken to Gail or Sally when feeding chickens, hanging washing out.

Glad Sally is suspicious.

Come to daddy with the cupboard incident was sick

CoolCarrie · 30/04/2020 14:36

Michell has left the street to live in Ireland, after poor Robert died, not that she really give a shit about him. In other words Kym Marsh decided to leave.
Robert dead, Bethany left, Michelle left, who is next I wonder...

eddiemairswife · 30/04/2020 14:45

where did Bethany go?

Will poor Robert ever have a funeral?

eggandonion · 30/04/2020 14:48

Bethany went to that London to be an intern journalist I think. Daniel is back, to become the new Ken.
I assume Robert had a funeral in the non specific place he came from. He was mostly OK, that Derry one was a horror.

CoolCarrie · 30/04/2020 15:35

God yes, that Derry one was awful.

Honeyroar · 30/04/2020 16:48

I just heard today that they’ve got enough episodes to last until early June.

eggandonion · 30/04/2020 16:59

That's only five or six weeks, what's to become of us? They must be able to sort out socially isolated episodes!

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 30/04/2020 19:51

Surely they can record some episodes and still follow social distancing guidelines in the workplace? A reduced crew and only a couple of cast members at a time with appropriate distance and even doing a lockdown storyline - id happily watch them chatting / reminiscing whilst they take their daily exercise walk. Could fill a few episodes that way!

CoolShoeshine · 30/04/2020 19:56

I agree that they could film something in an appropriate way. They couldn’t use the cafe, pub etc but I’m sure they could have some decent dialogue based scenes filmed mainly outdoors. If some big storylines had to be put on hold the viewers would understand.

eggandonion · 30/04/2020 20:06

Out the back of the Rovers, in the ginnel, at the Red Rec, in the gardens, at the memorial garden, at the graveyard. Lots of scope.
