Yes!!! I was wracking my brain trying to thinking of who he resembled. That’s it- Nathan!

I'm glad that it wasn't only me that found it really cringe. Although I did like the dad apologising to his son for being awful about his sexuality.

It was a terrible episode, to make an impact that kind of storyline needs to be happening to someone the viewers know and like. If they wanted to run a racism storyline they could have used another character.
I felt like it was a waste of an episode, I want to see what is happening with Yasmeen and Geoff.

Never thought about Nick and the heavy coat, it's also quite warm, he must be sweating.

If they wanted to do a racism story they could do it about Dev’s family, or Emma. We actually like them! Emma is marvelous though and I’d like her to have a happy story for a change.

I wasn't sure about Emma never having experienced racism though, I hope that's true! She's lovely and ideal for slimline Craig.

I thought the conversation with Emma saying she hadn't experienced racism was a way of saying she had, but she hadn't interpreted it as that. So she just accepted that people would touch her hair without asking etc.

I recently heard a 'little person', her description, on the radio, saying that people touch her in the street for luck. That's kind of what I thought re Emma, but I hope they weren't implying she was too stupid to notice! She is stunning looking.

I thought the thing with Emma and her hair wasnt that she was too stupid to notice,but more that things like touching someone's hair is so... I want to say acceptable and its not the word I mean... maybe common is better... that people dont really see it at racism.
Plus its always done in a positive way. I've never heard of someone touching an afro and saying 'ewww your hair is fucking nasty". Its always complimented. So Emma prob doesnt see it as racism.

Coronation Street is deep and meaningful! It's a shame it isn't written better and acted better at times. Kevin was good, but who's minding Jack?

I liked that they tackled racism but it was very rushed, and unfortunately the builder family can't act, which didn't help. Bad as they are though, Micheal's ex is even worse, wooden and scowling, she is just awful. I really like Ray, the bistro owner, i know he is a prize shit but i would love it if he could be redeemed. He is easy on the eye too.

I’m not going to link to the DM but Maureen Lipman wrote a good article yesterday saying that she’d let her live in assistant cut her hair. It’s half of what it was! She said she hopes it grows back before filming restarts in June. Also she has the dark streaks in it put in at £100 a pop!

Fingers crossed that tonight's episode has Geoff and Yasmeen in it, although I bet it's mostly about Oliver again.
