The quads! I'd forgotten them! They bring so many kids into the street who are sent upstairs for a bath, and don't come down for 4 years!

One of my fave characters is Steve (ok shoot me!). He just makes me laugh with his stupid comments !

This Kelly stuff is a pile of shite. Since when does a teenage girl move in with two men her mum has never met and knows nothing about (both have criminal records if I recall correctly?) and her mum is nowhere to be seen? Not calling her, trying to get her home etc? Rubbish.

Tim needs throwing out of the room while Geoff is interviewed. “She attacked him, that’s all you need to know!” As if you’d say that to a detective!

Imran is less shit hot lawyer and more shit lawyer that he didn’t immediately order a psych evaluation for Yasmeen. She doesn’t even understand that she’s being charged with attempted murder.

Yes and all he does it tell people to say nothing. Even Yasmeen. Alyia has made the detective think more in 5 mins!

Is it really realistic that yasmeen when from a person who could string sentences together to people before to totally not talking and stuttering? I know her mind is messed up but could she really go down hill that quickly? Finding it a bit frustrating

It’ll be the shock. She’s been through massive trauma that has been building up over months and culminated in her almost being killed and having to seriously injure her husband in order to escape. And now in a police cell, not able to see the only person she has been seeing for months. She hasn’t been allowed to move or leave the house without his permission or presence. He chastises her for constantly saying the wrong thing or whining. So yes, pretty realistic that she is now struggling to speak.

Chandler hasn’t her mother gone off somewhere after her run in with Gary? So Kelly is at home alone which is why she’s moved in with the Billies

Has she? Bonkers. Anyone aware of that situation would phone social services and advise them there is a teen (15?) girl living alone.

@summerrose11 Yes - it's totally realistic. How do you find the words to explain even if you yourself have pieced together what has happened (which she hasn't)

I think so - she said the mum had gone off somewhere and it wouldn’t be the first time she’d been left alone. Just the usual Corrie nonsense so that she ends up living on the street.

Hopefully when they have to do fewer episodes a week they will tighten up their story lines
They have got sloppy in my opinion
Lose some of the characters and writers and make it believable again

Stupid thing is, more episodes should have given the time to do stories properly and tie up loose ends. It can be done without dragging stories out for months. Instead they rush through everything, leaving out chunks that could have been explored so that they can get onto the next big story.

would the police have breathalised Yasmeen after she was arrested? That might help call bullshit on Geoff’s line that she was violent when drunk.

I know it's wrong, but I too am feeling frustrated that Yasmeen isn't talking, and is just shrieking about seeing her husband.

I wondered that too. It's an anti-climatic end to a superbly done storyline.

I'm sure the detective was a bit suspicious of Goff always being the "victim" plus the Claire meeting must be on the police file?

I wonder if we will meet Tim's mother or is she deceased
