I hope the camera that he used to spy on Yasmin is found. Wonder if it's got a recording capability.

Hmm, he only ever seems to watch her live on his laptop. Hopefully they'll find damning evidence though.

He was watching her on his phone in Dev's shop the other day

Hmmm not sure, I imagined it was a live cam and not a recording thing anyway? Like he left the house and then checked up on her when he wasn't there.

surely she would be suspicious that he comes straight back and wants the locked cupboard opened.... I'd be turning the house upside down for cameras, but she is so ground down she probably can't think straight

We all cheered here when she hit out at him, it was soo tense, and I thought well filmed; all that jumping camera work , I hope he isn’t dead as I want to see her get justice and him get his comeuppance at last.

He has previously watched pre recorded stuff back on his laptop. Like when he got back from Las Vegas and watched Aliyah and Ryan in the house from his laptop while sally and Tim were sitting right there in the living room with him. Someone asked him what he was doing on his laptop and he made up some excuse.

Yeah I think I’d preferred if she’d just found a way to leave and go somewhere safe and been able to tell people what happened. Or someone to have copped on and helped her and told everyone what Geoff was like. This will just turn into a her word against his, wrongful imprisonment etc

Well we have a camera like that (for watching the cat when we’re out not each other!). You can just have it as live or you can have it record as well so I’m hoping you are all right and it’s evidence of the abuse

Yes it's a shame that they didn't get her to confide in someone or call Women's Aid- it would be so much more beneficial to other women suffering abuse.
The Jade Goody effect - when Jade, bless her soul, was diagnosed with cancer there was an upswing in the numbers of women going for their tests.

I'm glad others agree with me on the ending. It would be so, so much better and more empowering for other women if Yasmeen had found resolve on her own.
After a fantastic storyline, they went for the typical dramatic end but not the end really, as they'll get loads of mileage out of this and it's very disappointing.

I also wish the story line showed her contacting Women's Aid and leaving him and getting help.

I think what they were trying to do was show how the “leaving part” usually escalates the abuse. The had Geoff find out about her running away suitcase which made him up his game. Reflective of real life but actually I think could serve to frighten RL victims and deter them from trying to leave. I think it would have been better to have her get professional help and go through the advice they give and get him out safely.

Yes I agree his behaviour escalated more quickly because she was trying to leave and he saw she was becoming aware to his behaviour. Which is typical in real life. I also hope they don't go down the whole sending her to jail thing. And I also hope they don't mock her or throw what she says out of court. It would put RL victims off going to the police

I bet that she will ring the police then alya will turn up back from Spain just at that point to support her.

Does anyone remember reading an article about the Yasmeen actress Shelley King a couple of years ago or so, apparently some crew and cast members were accusing her of taking food from set. The food was apparently the food that's put on for crew and cast to eat while they were working, at the time I was quite shocked to read people being so nasty saying these things publicly but now looking back it really does seem horrible and bitchy, I can't find the article now, it was a wicked whispers type of thing but she was named.

Nope. That doesn't ring a bell to me at all, although I don't usually follow these things.

Completely off topic, but I love Yasmeen's grey dressing gown, with the cream fleecy collar thing. Does anyone know where it's from?
