We have been discussing Our Girl from the first series back in 2014 and are now on thread 55!

"You Fit?" - Oh yes, it's been said a lot on here Elvis.

I love that masterful whistle to his team.

Oh yes Elvis, you are well fit! I do love his one liners.

The dog tags in their stupid hiding place are found. The lad gets angry and calls for help. She is desperate.

Poor Kiki - she gets the worst of everything. Poor young lad too.

Hats off to MK here, she really gives this everything she's got.

Elvis tells CJ to go in now - it's desperate so in they go.

Georgie's dog tags are discovered and they know she is more than a civilian paramedic.

Elvis and the team can tell there's trouble in the compound and are ready to drop in by helicopter to rescue "the primary".

Kiki has been shot and is dying in Georgie's arms.

He does have a good script.

Meanwhile Abu is deserting, coward!

The boys are on the way ready to extract the primary. Georgie sees them arriving.

Poor Zaki. Every man for himself and Abu and his superiors have legged it out of harm's way.

Elvis slides down the rope and heads for the cage to rescue Georgie.

She has no idea who it is, when he puts that harness on and up they go on the winch. Triumphant music as his hand goes around her.

Elvis abseils from the helicopter. Zaki (or whatever his name is) has no chance and Elvis shoots him.

At this stage, Georgie has no idea who her rescuer is as they are winched back up to the helicopter.

I like that Elvis puts a protective arm around her. Once inside. he removes his goggles and scarf..... and utters that line "all's well in the world". Well, not exactly, as Georgie smacks him right across his face.

What a moment to see him again - so much history between them. She must be so conflicted. Classic scene though.

Wow, even though I've watched that so many times, it's a bit different doing a commentary at the same time.

Great episode.

It’s lovely the way his arm embraces her

It’s that filthy look he gives. He’s got a great line in filthy looks.
So, that is the second time he rescues her. Are we also keeping count of how often she thanks him for rescuing her / saving her life?

Hmmm, does she ever thank him eejit?

Well, she did thank him the first time he rescued her - she agreed to marry him!
