David Tennant made a joke about Daniel Radcliffe playing a future doctor when he introduced the Pussy Cat Dolls on that daft 'save-the-planet-by-ego-stroking' concert. It's about as plausible as Tony Blair playing him because he was in a comic relief skit with Catherine Tate.

And if it is true, I shall be asking for the love of pinstripes, why??

What's he going to say to the daleks/cybermen "Stop it or i'll tell my mum!" or mayber "Expecto Patronus?"

The papers love "who's the next Doctor" stories and they very rarwely have any basis in fact.

Over the years, tabloids have tried to convince us that the new Doctor is going to be played by Donald Sutherland, Joanna Lumley, David Hasselhoff, Michael Crawford, Richard Griffiths, Sylvester Stallone and dozens of others!

David Tennant is officially under contract for one more series and four more feature-length specials until 2009. There may be a new Doctor in 2010. Let's wait and see, shall we?
