She definitely killed him and fed him to the tigers!

I wish she had fed Joe Exotic to one of his own tigers. Might have gone some small way to redressing the karmic balance.

I don't think she did. Her amused, eye rolling reaction to the idea was very odd.....as if she knew he was alive and could afford to laugh about the idea of killing him.
I think he faked his 'death' as part of his criminal activities, and her keeping quiet got her all the money 'on the books'.

I binged the entire series yesterday. It was so out there at first I thought it was some kind of parody! Amazing car crash essential viewing TV and yes Carol absolutely FRD her first hubby to the tigers!

She probably did, he vanished into thin air. She gained his millions, she's completely loopy and money driven. She thinks she's better than Joe but her zoo is exactly the same. She doesn't talk fondly of any particular tiger like she actually cares for them. She wears that flower head band round her head in hope all the local loons will follow her like some strange god like cult. Or maybe it wasn't a tiger that ate him but maybe she ate him instead, we will never know 😜

I think it was like canoe man. He's probably alive somewhere- although he did seem to be v dodgy, so possibly had some....unsavoury mates.

I really can’t decide if she killed him but I do think she knows what’s happened to him- and whether he’s dead or alive.

Loved the tv show and how utterly batshit they all are but my god the way the animals were treated was horrific. The chimpanzees belonging to Joe in particular broke my heart. He knew keeping them apart was cruel and he did it anyway- and for what?!
