Not sure if it’s a repeat but just watching this on Ch 4 and wondering how on earth they’re all coping in lockdown?!
I’m struggling with 4 of us here 24/7 Grin

How did they manage the shopping with all the restrictions!

rainbowlou · 02/04/2020 22:31

Goodness knows!

I was thinking the same is this recent??

It says Sue is expecting baby number 22 in April 2020

MadauntofA · 02/04/2020 22:33

Oh my goodness - I get v stressed going on holiday with 2dc, it's making me stressed watching them

MadauntofA · 02/04/2020 22:33

Looks like it was last summer

MadauntofA · 02/04/2020 22:34

That doesn't quite add up - they were taking about the kids being on summer holidays and she was pregnant then

LaneBoy · 02/04/2020 22:36

I have been wondering how they are getting on with lockdown and homeschooling! But yes I think they filmed a while back

sweetkitty · 02/04/2020 22:39

That’s what I mean it says Summer 2019 she’s 28 weeks pregnant but Wiki says baby no 22 due April 2020

Schmoana · 02/04/2020 22:49

It’s the first time I’ve seen this. The parents are absolutely knackered. Have they ever said why they keep having more? I feel skint/knackered/stressed with 2!

rainbowlou · 02/04/2020 22:51

I just saw this Grin

MadauntofA · 02/04/2020 22:58

Ahh, yes no 22 is due this month!

purpleme12 · 02/04/2020 23:22

It's not a repeat but I mean it's the same thing on every one isn't it so it feels like a repeat!

MyDcAreMarvel · 02/04/2020 23:28

It was a repeat.

purpleme12 · 02/04/2020 23:30

Oh ok perhaps I got it wrong!

Yester · 02/04/2020 23:33

Jesus it's times.like this where I am struggling to be emotionally available to my three and give them well needed attention several times a day that you know having this many kids isn't right.

sweetkitty · 03/04/2020 00:00

My 14yo DD2 has never heard or watched any of them before. Her reaction
“Why wasnt he sent to jail for getting her pregnant at 13, maybe he wouldn’t have got her pregnant all those times after?”
She’s horrified someone her age had a baby. Cue discussion on “the olden days” when as soon as you had your period that was you married and having babies.

DD1 15 said that she would be terrified something would happen to me having all those babies.

I have four and know my body had had enough after no 4.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/04/2020 14:52

So bonnie wasn’t their last child

The one preg with in Benidorm

Mad imo

Too many children

How can you give enough time to each

Know the older ones have moved out and think Sophie 2nd eldest has 3 kids herself

How can they find enough food for all at the moment - 3 boxes of cereal a day was in last programme

21 a week

Tho guess on this current climate they will have bread 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/04/2020 14:54

Agree there was a debate should Noel have been put on sex offenders register

They never have grandparents on the show

Are their parents alive

puds11 · 03/04/2020 14:57

@Schmoana I watch a program where Sue said she was addicted to having babies. I’m fairly sure in the same program she said doctors advised her to stop after baby number 11.

womaninatightspot · 03/04/2020 14:58

I'm sure I saw an episode which mentioned they'd both been in care or something and that was why having lots of kids in a loving environment was so important to them.

Trumpspeach · 03/04/2020 16:40

One of the many things that struck me was how skinny many of the kids were. I know that child size varies, but how on earth to you ensure that each one has what they need? And as a parent how would you know how each of them was??? There could be bullying or all sorts going on in a child's life and the parents, well meaning as they are, just wouldn't recognise it.

TreeTopTim · 08/04/2020 08:35

Baby number 22 was born this week.

I am both saddened and fascinated by them.

I feel for the children never having any peace and quiet, the older girls having to look after the younger children, I doubt they get one on one time with their parents.

I am fascinated in why they have never been investigated by social services. How do they know what is going on in all of their children's lives, how do they keep up with school, homework, bullying, do the kids miss out on things such a school residentials, do they go to clubs, do they have friends. How do they pay for it all.

I am from a biggish family and I hated it. My parents never had time for us and we were always skint.

paininthepoinsettia · 08/04/2020 08:41

Neither of them were in care, both were adopted within weeks of birth. Sue 's parents have always been very hands on and featured in a few of the series. Sadly her father and Noel 's mother died last year.

Either or both of them seem to have attachment issues and really need help. They won't stop though until her body does, it really does seem like a n addiction.

GaaaaarlicBread · 08/04/2020 08:44

Yeah it was a repeat, she’s just had her most recent baby a few days ago. Madness I honestly don’t know how she copes ! She said on her recent vlog on YouTube that it doesn’t get less difficult and it still hurts to give birth, I can’t believe it really 😂
