I am so looking forward to this years show! Anyone else? I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I so look forwrad to seeing the outfits as well!

I would dearly love to know the break down of the public votes as they happen during the week. I just cannot believe that any sane person could have watched all the dances last night and thought

"you know with my 25p vote I'm gonna go with Kate because I really enjoyed her performance"

I would bet (hmmm how much would I bet.....)£25 that Kate and Anton get most of their votes during the week before she sets foot on that dance floor.

Raahh, where do you get your information?!! Agree that Penny should have stayed when the likes of Kenny and Kate are still dancing. A very bad call in my opinion.

Although I know I should just be looking at the dancing, I think Penny and Leticia seem such lovely people. Funnily enough, I never expected to warm to Penny with the 'wife of pop star' image. Just shows how wrong I was and how I shouldn't pre-judge people. She seems so genuine and warm.

I don't know WHY they are voting for Kate though, it can't be personality, the girl hasn't got one !

I really dislike this voting all week long thing. People are just mindlessly pressing 'redial' (no doubt whilst watching GMbloodyTV) before they've even seen the dance.

lol Granny. Not even any rhythmical wriggling occurs here, although DH was an enthusiastic barn dancer last weekend (no rythmn required for that though).

Completely agree NomDePlume. Why can't we just vote on the night?

Hang on... if the voting goes on all week, on what basis are people voting? It must mean they are voting on a dance they haven't even SEEN yet

It's all about the money...... (of course the Beeb will say that this is a good thing as 25p goes to CIN, but the rest is topping up the coffers).

Is there a link for the spoiler on here somewhere. I was good this week waiting, but not sure I want to next time as I was SSOOOOO disappointed.
The professional dancers were amazing though weren't they WOW.
I went out on Friday and had too much to drink and thought I was Lilia at about midnight in the club. I am still aching today...

Though CaptainJack John Barrowman was fab!

oxo, just got back on here- apparently ( according to such intellectual tomes as the mirror, ) that is what they said this week about Rod and Pen (and he wants another baby, or something). Don't read the stuff, myself, you understand...dh is a newspaper printer

Oh yes, Mr Barrowman was great, and the professionals dance was fab.

I still love the show, it's just a shame that we've lost a couple of the really quite good celebrities.

What pleasure do the people who vote for Kate possibly get from watching her being dragged around the floor by Anton every week. They're ruining the show.
Also is it part of the GMTV presenter job spec to not be able to dance? Her and fiona Philips must be the worst female dancers in the country.

I think the voting is poxy and the judges are obviously disgusted with the results; Poor Len hates being put in the position off voting off good dancers. They have to change it somehow for the next series.

Kate is the only one who hasn't improved a jot!
We're voting for Barnes in this house, but I am swerving towards Gethin as I think he is improving (and he looked v good in uiniform)

I vote twice. Once for the best dance (yes I would even vote for Kelly if she was the best), and the other one is either used tactically (for someone like Matt this week, who is actually really good, but was in the middle of the board, proven to be a dangerous place), or for 'that was not great, but very entertaining'.

Kate is not good. Not entertaining. Not deserving of being any more chances to stay in.

I take my voting very seriously

On the spoiler thread someone confessed to having voted for Kate because she was so funny!
Thankfully quite a few of the other posters were suitably cross with her.

They should change it to voting for who you want to throw out of the show. That would mean Kate's fans votes would be more spread amongst the other contestants (as in voting for others to go) , stop it being so much of a popularity contest and probably have a result more representative of the actual dancing.

I am absolutely gutted that Penny went out! I would have been gutted had Matt gone out too. I just cannot believe that Kate is still there, she's awful, even I can dance better than her.
Just like Oxocube, I didn't expect to like Penny, but, I loved her ballroom and she actually seemed really nice, genuine and not at all 'up' herself.
I have to confess (at the risk of being harangued by Gethinites) that I actually find Gethin quite boring to watch, although I thought his Viennese was quite good, it's the only dance of his that I've found absorbing.
At this rate Kate will be in the final!

Matt and Flavia should not have been in the dance off. Very and sorry for Penny.
