Strictly Come Dancing

I am so looking forward to this years show! Anyone else? I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I so look forwrad to seeing the outfits as well!

Oh, I know but I felt she really had tried.

Gabby was sulking as she didn't get top marks.

Anyone watching BBC2? I am doing dinner so need filling in later.

Nothing was said on GMTV - Lorraine Kelly made it look like a storm in a teacup when she interviewed Kate and Anton.

NAB - Gabby said that the reason she was so grumpy the first week was because James had drilled it into her that the worst place to be with the judges was in the middle. And they were slap bang in the middle - they were the last to dance so knew straight away that that was where they would end up.
I think that he had a point - people vote for the ones at the bottom coz they feel sorry for them and the ones at the top would have to get literally no votes to be in the bottom 2. But that is why she was upset - not because she wasn't top but because she was in the middle. Well, that is what they said to Claudia.

Don't think that it should have been Gabby to go as she wasn't one of the poorest dancers. And that's that.

So both Strictly and X Factor managed to get acts who are really cutting edge

Actually, I have really surprised myself in my new dislike of Kelly Brooke. Previously, I thought she was good looking, fair play to her for using her assets, etc etc but she is so bloody smug and annoying on this show. Apparently in interview, she has said the secret to looking good is loads of sex. [Yawn]

Kelly is so wrong about that!! I have loads of sex, and still look dog rough most of the time. Needless to say, the sex is mostly in the dark!!!

But, getting back to the thread, it seems there are more Gabby haters than I first thought! Hooray!!

And she looked like she found the idea of getting voted off so incomprehensible I just wanted to punch the telly, never mind the air. This was when she was on It Takes Two, BTW. I'm a bit all over the place, aren't I??

I'm beginning to like Craig Revel Horwood (sp?)in a Simon Cowell type of way , he was extremely patient with an increasingly daft Claudia Winkleman last night.

Saw Gabby on BBC breakfast today and she and James seem to be thawing out as the week goes on. I like her radio show on 5 Live but did struggle to warm to her on Strictly. She was very sweet and supportive about Kenny and Ola.

I like Kelly less every week. I wish she was rubbish! Brendan makes me retch.

Marti Pellow has in the past had a heroin problem. He has aged terribly since he got clean.

Craig can be nasty but I often agree with him

I quite like Craig. He can be brutal and quite rude at times but at least he is consistent and doesn't play favourties - at least not as obviously as some of the others. I like the way that he is completely different when he is judging from the way he is when he is just chatting.
Something that I didn't realise until IT2 last night was that, if Bruno had punished Kelly and Brendan the same as the other judges did (ie given them an 8), they would have been on the same points as Penny and Ian and that could have meant that they were in the dance-off. Craig said he wished he could have given them 0 for cheating so if they were in the dance-off then I bet he would have voted against them I know it's all speculation but still ...

still really at bruno. i think they should automatically have been in the dance off, that wouldve taught them a harsh lesson.

Who knows, they may change the rules next serise (I'm certain there will be another one, two, three etc) so that any rule breaking will definately be penalised. It's all well and good, Brendan saying that he decided to put in 3 lifts and so it's not Kelly's fault but everyone knows that you can't have 3 so why did she let him get away with it?

They are so up themsleves it drives me mad. I really hope they dont get to the final altho i know I am moving into popularity contest territory and not dance contest, since they are good.

LOL - that's the trouble isn't it. We complain about people voting for Kate and Anton because they like them ... but I'm quite willing to vote against Kelly and Brendan because I don't like them! Thing is, there isn't much point yet as there are so many others you'd spend a fortune voting for all of them and still not make a difference.

Did anyone see the clip on last night's IT2 where Anton was getting arsey with Kate? Don't think that is going to endear him to many people, thankfully!
I really like IT2 but can't put it on until 6.50 when In the Night Garden finishes.

You know I thought I would like Kelly because she seemed so normal before, now she just annoys me, but Penny Lancaster has surprised me because I really do like her, and I just didn't think I would!
